Never have I been so mistreated. Baker Street be Taker Money Street and let the customer rout. Very small portions, very weak drinks, very poor service, and the management could care less. A family would not do well here. Must less for the dollar than say Chili's or the Outback. These are quality stores. Faker Street

No joy here. The food is horrible. The drinks are weak. The staff is faceless. Your return is not considered. This out of state business is a measured farce. No over pours here. The food is not only bad, the portions are small, and it is all mircowaved garbage. One Friday was enough, the bands are incredibly loud. Not a place for children at any time. So many better places within a mile. Walk pass this dive.
I have been a patron of Baker St Pub for almost 6 years. the great thing about it is simply this--it is not part of downtown. It caters to locals and people looking for a scene that is not rife with cover charges, police, and crowding. Yes, Friday nights get a little nuts, but that is going to be anywhere. The food is usually very yummy, service is great, and the bands are entertaining. There's also foosball, pool, darts, and a few video games to occupy those who need a relief from the music if necessary. Some previous commentors have said that it is "standing room only". Yes, but not every night. They always have a great atmosphere, warm fireplace on the patio, friendly and might I add attentive staff, and decent drink specials. Their prices may be a little higher than some places, but I am willing to travel to the suburbs for a better atmosphere even if that means my drink is one dollar more. At least I know I will have a great time, which is more than I can say for most of the establishments down town.

We have frequented this establishment several times with not one bad thing to say. We enjoy this place for their seating outside on thier patio. We are happy hour people, and usually go between 3-8 ish. Their h.h. prices are great. Where can you go for a draw beer at $2. And my rum & coke for $2.50. Happy hour times are 2-9 Mon - Sat., and all day on sundays with $2 bloodmarys on sunday. Their menu prices are great as well. We've tried numerous items on their menu with no regrets. We can order an item and have it split for two, which they actually split it for two people, seperate plates etc. We go there sometimes twice a week, as for the two us we can enjoy 3-4 cocktails each, split a meal and walk out for under $30. We have never been here at night so can't comment. We will return, maybe even today, see you there.....

The Belmar area is fun, but not late at night, so the location of the Baker's Street Pub is good, but not great.
The food is standard bar food, but 3x as expensive as most bars. Beers are okay, but selection is kinda limited compared to other beer centric pubs. Mixed drinks are not impressive, leaving the taste of ethanol burning in one's mouth.
Besides the mediocre and over priced food/liquor, the bouncers for the pub are complete morons. Even just showing them your ID is a bummer experience. If you don't ""look old enough,"" even if you are 21, and have valid ID, you may not be let in because ""they don't want the cops to think they are serving under-age minors.""
I think there are hundreds of better bars in the greater Denver metro area which I would recommend over Baker's Street.

This place is ""everyone for themselves"", which leaves patrons scrambling for seats, out-smarting one another to get a good place to sit, hawking over those who aren't done eating, like vultures, waiting for the table. If Baker Street would put a hostess/ seating system into place, then my rating would be much higher. It is simply so frustrating to try to find a place you can even stand to order food and drink that I try not to go here. Also, the staff just seems overwhelmed, and like they don't enjoy their jobs. I wouldn't either if I had to crawl over people standing two and three deep at each already seated table giving the evil eye to people trying to enjoy themselves. I once sat at the bar, and when I came back from the restroom, my seat was taken - couldn't even get it back. I left - haven't gone back. Awful.

Got 86'ed for life after frequenting this bar for almost 3 years. No verbal sparring. Not once crashed into the band, threw up, spilled a drink, missed the urinal, stiffed a tip or bumped into anyone. Their reason; I stand too close to people. The place was packed and I'm half deaf. This was the sixth time in two years. I've Never been kicked out of Anyplace in my 51 years of existence. (okay, hopefully this review won't disappear. If it does, I just have to cut and paste.)
Well, just got 86'ed for LIFE after after being a loyal customer for almost 3 years. Not a punch thrown, or taken. No verbal sparring. Not once crashed into the band, threw up, spilled a drink, missed the urinal or bumped into anyone. Their reason; I stand too close to people. I've heard of others being given the boot for mysterious reasons. Guess the stories are true.

Well, just got 86'ed from a bar for life after frequenting it for almost 3 years. Never an angry word or threatening posture. No verbal sparring. Not once crashed into the band, threw up, spilled a drink, Not once did I miss the urinal or bump into anyone. Their reason; I stand too close to people. Sorry if being 45% deaf and having Aspergers does not make me the life of the party.

I have been going to Baker Street Pub for about a year. I recently read some really negetive reviews about Baker Street and it upset me. I know alot of people that hang out there on a day to day basis. They have great food, live music, and smiling staff that seem to make my day better. Friday nights get really packed and loud so if you dont like that sort of thing stay home! Game's on Sunday are displayed on the big screen with sound and not to mention the best happy hour in town. All around this is the hot spot in Lakewood.

Im not sure what these other people are talking about. I visit Baker St. frequently and always have a great time. The happy hour is killer, and the food has always been great. There have been a couple times where my food has come out mis-prepared but every restaurtant/bar has an off day or so. I have always received great service there. The servers are very attentive, and make sure my needs are met. Every time I am there I see a manager going around talking with customers, just stopping by their tables, checking on food, drinks, service, making sure everything is going well. The bouncers are always friendly. The bands are usually pretty good. They have some off bands but for the most part, I could stay there and listen to the bands all night. With the weather getting colder its nice that they have heaters and a huge fireplace outside. And even when its cold outside the waitresses still come out and will take your drink/food orders and make sure you're being taken care of. Overall I would say this place is my favorite bar and I always have an enjoyable time there!
Thank You to the Baker St staff!

This was not our first trip to Baker St., so I should've expected the service I got...but I keep going back for the drink specials. The beer is cheap, they have a great happy hour; however the service last night and every time I've been there has been really bad. Takes forever to place an initial drink order (they didn't stop at the table to greet us for about 10 minutes) and then I'd sit there with an empty pint glass for awhile before being offered another drink. On top of this, my food came out about 15 minutes before the rest of my party's food and it was prepared incorrectly, so I sent it back. It came out again with the rest of the food, but was still wrong (and COLD), so I had to send it back again. Like I said, not sure why I went back after having a few similiar experiences in the past...but this was the last straw. I don't care if they give beer away, I'll go somewhere else in the future.

The food is decent, fried mushrooms rocked but were dropped from the menu. Service is slow and inattenative to downright horrible. Our last trip ever to Baker St, service was non-existent on a night were there was as many staff as patrons and the shift manager walked away from us as we tried to voice our dis-satisfaction with the service. We were eventually comped our meals(that arrived roughly an hour after we walked in) but with an attitude. We will never be back.

we spent last weekend in denver and started it out with happy hour at this pub and boy, were we pleased! good selection of beers on tap and the ambience was cool. the spinach artichoke dip was almost on par with the dip houston's serves and the fish and chips my bf had were perfect! best fish and chips ever. the sirloin cheese and bacon burger i had was yummy, too. we didn't stay for the live band, but heard later they weren't so good anyway. no matter, this place does just fine without them! who else has happy hour from 2 to 9?!

We have the best times going to Baker St. Pub. They have a great atmosphere with a friendly staff . Nice outdoor fireplace that overlooks a ice skating rink in the wintertime. They have billards and darts along with my favorite Goldon Tea. Thier happy hour prices can't be beat, even better with Happy Hour times from 2-9 everyday and all day Sunday. They also have a pretty cool Tivia Wednesday with first place winning $100 cash and 2nd place getting a $50 gift certificate. I love the fact that they have a late nite menue that goes on till 2am. Well worth the drive if you don't live close.
