These guys will serve eviction notice if you are late on your water bill. They charge tenants for maintenance and city sewer charges. They do not keep up their properties and will charge you for repairs even if the damage was already there. I can't wait for my lease to be up.
I have been their client for over 10 years. They have always provided excellent service: quick to respond and resolve/repair tenant/housing problems. Their repair costs are cheaper than I could arrange myself. Overall I highly recommend MOD.
After five or six months of nearly continuous leaks in the ceiling of my unit (3559 s bannock st. #202), I was finally allowed to leave. Before I was completely moved into my new apartment, the ceiling in my bedroom collapsed. When it collapsed, it revealed what I would consider to be an infestation of black mold.During the time I spent in #202, I was forced to sleep on the floor in my living room more than once because my bedroom was SATURATED. Each time a new leak began, I was assured by MGMT that he/they were "escalating repairs appropriately." When I mentioned the Warranty of Habitability (I advise you STUDY it if you plan to rent from MOD), I was told that I did not have a claim. I was foolish and believed them.Modprop has shown blatant disregard for my well-being and proved time and again that they will absolutely put a renter in danger before they'd bite the bullet and release them from a potentially harmful situation.
