The service that I got from Colorado Drive Shaft was amazing. I had a driveshaft rebuilt for a 1987 BMW 5 series. The universal joints were seized, and the driveshaft was making tons of noise. I brought it in to Dave, and he was awesome! He explained the rebuild process to me, and I got the driveshaft back the next day! Extremely disappointed, at first the guy try to charge more than what dealer ask for a new part, then promised the part is in a good working order, but upon installing it on my truck it is leaking fluid everywhere, the owner says it didnt leak on the used vehicle, please stay away, plenty other salvage yards that stand behind their parts and service
I found Eric and Adopt A Part on a prius forum. My college daughter had just gotten a $4500 repair quote on her 2001 Prius from the Toyota dealer. Eric is going to do a diagnostic on it and IF the dealer was correct, the total cost will be $1100. A savings of $3400 to a starving college kid might as well be a million dollars. I needed a transmission for my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. The owner, Sean, was very helpful and they have the best prices in town. My mechanic had also said that I needed a new transfer case, but instead of just selling me the part, which they had in stock, Sean and his crew checked out the car and pointed out that I didn't need it after all. Seriously, what a change to get such an honest answer from a guy in a car industry. The next week, I sent my sister to them for a cracked windshield. It's been about 3 months and my car has been running great. Other Car shops, take a lesson from these guys: this is how you build life-long customers.
