I am a amusement and theme park enthusiast and I came here looking forward to visiting this park. My visit was pretty good but definitely not among the best parks I've been too nationwide. They have a nice coaster line up and a decent flat ride lineup as well but I noticed the kids area isn't that big so there's almost nothing for the little ones to do outside of the small kids area. Of their coaster lineup, one is very rare, and that is the one that is called Sidewinder. This coaster is one of the three or four attractions that made the move from the original location of Elitch Gardens and is one of the few remaining shuttle loop coasters from Arrow Dynamics. A shuttle loop coaster is one that is launched out of the station, through a loop, goes out to the station at the other end of the loop, and then gets launched backwards through the loop to the original station. Their only wooden coaster "Twister 2" is quite rough. Half Pipe is quite an interesting shuttle coaster itself. The food here is ok, not bad, but not great but they do sell souvenir bottles which can be refilled all season long for just $.99. There is a water park attached which is included with your park admission.
Elitches is a great attraction, it's a little pricey though. I HIGHLY recommend that you get the Fast Pass which is a wrist band that allows you to …
This listing has the address wrong.Based on the visit of an eleven year old thrill seeker and her father, visiting April 30th, when all water-related rides and many others were still closed:Pros:* No shortage of fun, high-thrill rides. We only repeated a couple because they were so much fun. Our favorite was the Mind Eraser roller coaster.* Short lines. (Go on an off day to get yours.)* The guy running Spider was awesome, spinning each cart by hand to give riders extra fun.Cons:* Having to fend off barkers. About two dozen times I had to say "No, I don't want to play your game / buy what you are selling." It gets old. Fast. -1.* Ghost Blasters targets don't register hits. Skip this very-much-in-need-of-maintenance time waster.* The official downloadable map numbers every ride but doesn't say what they are???Tips:* Consider a Season Pass. It comes with several free and very-low-cost guest passes that make it a great deal if used wisely.* You're going to get a lot of sun. Wear sunscreen.
My family had a wonderful time at Elitch Garden. There was so much to do for the money. Usually amusement parks this size cost 60 dollars and up, however, Elitches was 39.99. It has a water park that has fun for all ages as well as a KiddieLand and other rides for adults. This amusement park is very family friendly. We went on a Tuesday so the lines were not long at all. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride. I would definitely recommend this a park for adults and children.
Elitches is a great attraction, it's a little pricey though. I HIGHLY recommend that you get the Fast Pass which is a wrist band that allows you to go to the front of the line on most of the "thrill" rides. We bought the Extreme pass which was the most expensive but we waited no longer than 10 minutes for the rides when other people had been waiting in line for 30 minutes to over an hour. It's a lot of fun for young and old!
A really exciting amusement park! Very clean and family friendly! Something to do for everyone! The tides appear to be well kept! I enjoyed the Ferris Wheel! My wife went on the slingshot! Food was good ... and the staff were very nice! We had an excellent evening of going back to being kids!
Elitch's is a fun affordable place to spend the day in Denver riding rides or at the water park. They offer a lot of what the big parks offer, like cute shops, thrill rides with pictures, water rides, and typical amusement park food. A great place to visit with young kids or teens.
I went to visit my good friend from school who lives there and he took me to this park; it was so fun, I had very good memories and I hope to come back some day
Very amazing rides and water park!!! Lines are a little bit long but it's all worth the experience. I'll definitely be going back for more fun!!!
It's a good place to go if you're looking for something to do for the day. The rides are minimal and only really 3 "major" roller coasters.
This was a fun park, both water and amusement. Plenty of shade, variety of food and drink, and shops. Family had a great time!!
