Very unhappy with my experience. I spoke with a salesman on the phone over a timespan of a week & a half about a Ford Explorer Sport Trac I found online. Once I made arrangements with the salesman to meet him between 8:30 & 9, I drove 40 miles first thing the next morning. I arrived at 8:38 & had to wait until 9 when the salesman arrived. We filled out some paperwork & then went for a road test. The gas tank was below E. We had to stop so the salesman could put $2 in the tank. We drove to their shop where I spoke with a mechanic about the truck. Then we drove back to the dealership to talk with the sales manager about pricing. I sat down & went over the issues I had found with the truck. I told the sales manager I noticed by the service sticker it had been sitting on their lot for 6 months. He says "you know why, right?" I said "I guess because it's a niche market." He says "no, the vehicle has been totalled. It has a salvage title. This has to be a cash deal, no financing. Didn't you know that?" Um... No, I didn't know that. I spoke with a salesman for the last week & a half and that was never disclosed to me. The sales manager got up to go get the Carfax report & the salesman came back. "You didn't tell me this was a salvage title" I said. To which he replied "I didn't know..." The sales manager came back & showed me the Carfax report. He said it might have been totalled for hail damage, he wasn't clear. I looked at the report & it clearly said front end accident. I told him I was very frustrated with how this was going down. I offered him a cash out the door offer & he said "no, we can't do that." So I shook his hand, said thanks & walked out the door. Very upset that the salvage title was never disclosed to me before driving all the way up there.

I am a student and love North Texas Autos. They were great from the very beginning and have been wonderful after the car purchase. Thank you very much for a great car and negotiating the price down to my college budget. You guys are the best.
Great Cars and Low Prices and Very Good Customer Service. I really got a great deal on a very good car with low mileage.
Got my daughter a car here everything went smooth as glass great car great people!
I am a huge fan of these guys. They have been so amazing in everything they have done for us. We have bought 3 vehicles from them and have had great service on all of them. It has been so good that we had just bought a small truck and only had it a few weeks, the truck has had some work done on it and then a week later it was hit from behind. The truck was totaled out and in helping us out they applied the down payment for a new truck had us in it the next day and forgave the original work debts. We are friends professionally and personally and I will reccommend them to anyone. I love Brian
My daughter tried to buy a car from this place and she told the salesman Larry that she wouldn't have the $500 down for a few days...he told her to come back the next morning and he would let her take the car...she called him all morning long and wasn't there until about 11 that morning, on the way over we stopped and got insurance on the car. When we got over there he told her NO that she couldn't take the car without the $500 down, opposite of what he told her the night before. She was very upset and we went to get the insurance money, they told us to get a letter from James Wood stating that she wouldn't be purchasing the vehicle.. the salesman Larry was very rude to her and when we got back over to the insurance company the lady called Larry and was talking to her and he rudely hung up on the lady at the insurance company. My daughter took off work because she thought she was going to buy a car from James Wood Neighborhood Autos....luckily, she wound up buying a car through Bill Utter Ford with Ken Cady and was so helpful and informative and gave her some great advice on purchasing a vehicle, plus she got a much better car at a lower price than at James Wood....Ken Cady at Bill Utter Ford is the most honest car salesman I've ever dealt with and we will be using him from now on....Larry at James Wood tried to be under handed with my daughter and caused us a lot of grief and time and money today.....
I came in there asking for a 4th gen El Camino hood and rear bumper. He asks me if that's an 86 or and 85. Come on, you work at a salvage yard and you don't know Generations of cars!? Anyways I corrected him "it's a 77, 4th gen is 73-77"So he says alright and takes me to the vehicle. IT WAS A RUST BUCKET!! I understand old. I understand antique. But this thing was hideous! Then he tries to tell me that a hood is $395 and the rear bumper (which was dented and rusted too) was gonna be 295!!! Are you joking me? I would pay that for a brand new one. Anyways if you are looking for a knowledgeable affordable salvage yard, don't even bother with CTC. Yeah they have a good collection but it over priced and most of it has been sitting it that Damn wasteland of a dump they are all rusted through anyways. O by the way did I also mention you can't roam the yard! You have to tell them what you are looking for he shows you where it is. Then you walk out there and he checks up on you a couple times in his golf cart! He didn't even offer us a ride back! He drove the golf cart as we walked! I hope ctc rots away just like the rest of the once beautiful cars in your lot.Do yourself a favor. Find it somewhere else. Or on Craigslist. There is no need for a business like this in the classic car scene.
