They are the lowest quality property that I've ever lived in and this is my fourth property in Denton in the past 7 years. I first moved to Denton as a student and lived in old, poorly-renovated properties (The Oaks of Denton, Uptown Apartments, etc.) that still exceed my experience with The Martino Group.I live on the third floor corner unit and the walls are not insulated properly, I don't care what management says. I wish I could attach a video of the noise to show how horrible it is. E-mail me and I will send you an example. Nobody should have to deal with this. I can hear my neighbors sneeze the walls are so poorly soundproofed. Sleeping is a challenge because I can hear everything. I can even Shazam my neighbor's music when they're not even blasting it. I sleep with earplugs and a noise machine on just to exist. I've emailed management several times and they're spotty with responses. I've never had success communicating with Courtney Wood the property manager - which is why I'm reluctant to suggest anyone lease at Martino Group properties at all. VP Nick Miller has corresponded with me pleasantly a few times, but even he offers no solution and mostly refers me back to Courtney. Also never received a response to my last email to either of them almost 2 weeks ago.Amongst the sound issue I didn't get my mail here for almost the first two months I lived here, a pipe exploded in my hallway and they took 6 weeks to clean it up, they don't respond to maintenance requests unless it's an emergency, and even with all of my patience, they won't let me out of my lease unless I fork over $900. I don't even want to move at this point, I just want them to fix the noise issue. But looking over reviews here I see I'm not the only one suffering at 712.I was told several things when I signed: these are "luxury" apts, there won't be a train horn when I move in, they'll paint an accent wall, etc. I'm sure I can find some form of fraud here.
My friend is an attorney who has been renting from this company for 5 years and he recommended them to me. I read a negative review and thankfully do not listen to gossip. I am happy to say I now rent a house from them.

Called on a house for sale. The house was pier and beam and there were floors that had fallen through. Windows broken and molded bathrooms. They said we could rent it for $1000 a month, pay $99k CASH to own it or $109k to owner finance through them. The house was only worth about $50k because of how bad it was falling apart. SCAMERS!
