I live near the Denham Springs Goodwill and have found some fantastic bargains. The key is to stop in regularly because this store has a lot of customers and the good stuff does not stay long. My best finds were items that had been in the store less than 24 hours. I recently found an old wood desk for $39.00 for my brother with tongue & groove American made construction and this week I found a 1940-1950's buffet & separate china cabinet for $180.00. It was made of solid wood with a formica veneer, probably when formica was considered a high end material. Some things are overpriced and some things are underpriced for what they are, but that's the case at many thrift stores. If you stop in often and take your time to look you will find some very nice things at the Denham Springs Goodwill.
