C and J Cafe

We had lunch there today and it was the worst food that I have had for a very long time. The service was also lacking...the person that told us to 'sit anywhere' threw the menus and the silverware on the table, never spoke a word to us and was not pleasant at all. When the food arrived it was terrible..The salad was just lettuce with ranch over it and the crackers were stale. The chicken fried steak was not fried crisp, it was soggy! The gravy was out of a package and cold as were the instant mashed potatoes and canned green beans. My wife had the fish sandwich and fries but it was so bad that she hardly ate any of it, even the fries tasted like fish. There was one saving grace...the iced tea was excellent! This is the second time we have eaten here and we were disappointed the first time, but thought we would give it another chance...we shouldn't have bothered as it was just as bad second time around.
