Horrible company. I cancelled services with them just "3 hours" after them taking my $1500 deposit, and they didn't want to refund the deposit. So I disputed the charge with my credit card company. No goods or services were received and yet they somehow think they're entitled to keep the $1500 deposit even though I cancelled with them only "3 hours" later from when they took the deposit. STAY AWAY from this company.

I am completely indebted to Legacy Movers for helping us at the time when we needed packing and moving assistance almost immediately. There was not much to be moved, well that however included a double bed and some paintings, quilts, clothes and lot of other belongings which I could not move all by myself. We have recently moved and used Legacy Movers for the job. I came to know about them from my cousin. I actually wanted to try them out because I heard a lot about them. So, I called them and spoke with their sales rep. He offered me a very good price and ensured the safety of my goods. I was in need to move urgently for which I hired the services of Legacy movers and boy was this best choice I have ever made. The FMCSA can also tell you if any complaints have been filed against a particular moving company.
Check with the American Moving and Storage Association
For both local and long-distance moving companies, AMSA is another good place to check out a company's legitimacy. Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
