        General Info
        At our four locations we provide comprehensive vision care for both children and adults. We are known for the time our doctors spend answering our patients questions. Our goal is to answer all questions without all the "medical stuff" so that each patient can make the proper decisions for their care. When you visit our offices, your personal exam should include: •A comprehensive medical history •A comprehensive ocular history •A refraction to determine the eyeglass prescription for distance, near and intermediate •Binocular vision analysis •External eye health •Internal eye health •Intraocular pressure check for glaucoma •Retinal evaluation for diabetes and hypertension •May include computerized visual fields to detect glaucoma or brain tumors Your contact lens exam should include the above as well as: •Inspection of the cornea, conjunctiva and tear layer •Determination of the corneal curvatures •Trial fit of contact lenses •Training on the proper techniques of insertion and removal of contact lenses •Solutions and storage case Along with the other routine care we offer: •Eye infections and injuries •Glaucoma care •Custom Contact Lens fitting for astigmatism and bifocals •Pre and Post operative cataract care •Pre and Post operative LASIK care (special interest to Dr. Steve Beck) •Amblyopic "lazy eye" evaluation and care •Children's vision evaluation •Low vision evaluation for deteriorating sight including macular degeneration
