O'Neill's Shire Pub

Excellent place!!! Awesome service.

i love lunch @ the pub on weekends, i will say i cannot go, weekdays if i am limited on time as i know i will be their at least 1 to 1.5 hrs. slow cook.......... however, sundays @ the shire are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is not bad at this place, and the service is decent. I had diner here a bunch of times. Im not a big fan of the owner/manager, shes not very nice.

My friend and I are not new to O'neill's Shire Pub. We've been there before, for drinks and bar food. However, he decided to take me out for a sit down dinner....in the dining room. Our waitress arrived after about 10 minutes, she neglected to introduce herself. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Spring rolls for $7, you get TWO. The food arrived after a good 20 minutes. The waitress never stopped by to ask if we would like refills of our drinks. Our dinner order didn't arrive until 1.5 hours after we arrived. The food was bland, and not accurate. My dish was lacking two ingredients, and the 'chefs' used the wrong cheese. My partner's steak was rare, maybe medium rare in spots. He ordered the steak over medium. We didn't even have a chance to complain as the waitress never returned except to give us our check. What a lousy experience.



On a side note: The owners are the same as the Andes Hotel. We have many, many experiences there, and have never had a negative one. In fact, the food has always been above and beyond.
