Called and left voice mail, about 3days later got a return voice mail. Upon calling back I spoke to a woman who didn't identify herself right away, just started talking. I tried to hire them for leaf removal but apparently if you're not one of their long term clients, they have no idea what to tell you or even work with you. She sounded hung over or maybe drunk, wouldn't confirm any date and in her raspy voice kept saying "well, I don't know...(pause) ... Uh...." At the end of the so-called "conversation" I ended up hanging up on her. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!!!!!

We have used Emery Tree Service for 11 years. We've used them for tree removal as well as tree trimming. It's a great family run business and they really care about doing a good job for their clients.

After giving me an estimate, which i accepted, they seemed to stop caring about my business. I had to follow up with them 2x by phone to tell them I wanted to hire them. Both times I got a voice mailbox - that should have been my first sign. Then when "Janet" called me back she said she had been out of the office for a few days. I told her I wanted to go ahead with the work but yet she didn't attempt to schedule a date for them to come out and do the work. I had to ask for a date. The day they were scheduled, Janet called me to tell me they were unable to come out because their "guy" was still completing other work. I told her I wanted the work completed before Sept. 14 because I was going on vacation. She said she would tell her guy that it needed to be completed before then, but again never gave me a second appointment - she just kind of left it open. I called her back a few days later and told her I was taking my business elsewhere.

Originally called Emery's on a Monday morning, disappointed I received a voice message but I did leave a message (usually I would call the next guy I found on Dexknows), a couple of hours later received a call from the owner and he came out that afternoon. Was clean and very knowledgeable about trees. I think he gave me good advice and ultimately had to cut down a tree that was split from a wind storm. I would recommend Emery's
