I wish I had read through the reviews before going to this company. It's pretty telling to me that there are either 5 stars or only 1 on pretty much every review. I'm sure that some people had a good experience with them along the way, we certainly THOUGHT we had a good experience. The niceness of the people there does not make up for the fact that they WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOU. We bought a car, upfront, in cash. That night we asked for a few things to be taken care of (fuses and such) we got a resounding "well we just can't accommodate that because we're hardly making any profit on this car." That's bs. Everyone knows that salespeople use these kinds of tactics. You made money, don't even try that. THEN... the very next day ... THE CAR WOULDN'T START. We called them up, asked that they have the car towed somewhere. The give us the runaround for TWO HOURS+ then, when we say we just need the car towed we're told that we're being too aggressive. I realized at that point that they weren't going to help us no matter what, so took care of it ourselves. I'm sure they'll get on here and comment that this "isn't the full story" or some other crap to make you feel like I'm exaggerating. I only wish I had gone somewhere else that valued having me come back enough to take care of me the first time.

I took my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee to them because it would start then shut off. They told me that they thought it was my key needing reprogrammed. I took it there either the instructions to test it if it's not the key not to work on it. After two weeks I call back because I hadn't heard anything from them. They tell me they haven't gotten to it yet. Once again I tell them not to fix anything if it's not the key. About two days later I get a call saying it wasn't the key they have to test more things to figure out what it is. I tell them not to I'll be back to pick up the jeep. I go pick up the jeep they have the dash tore apart the inside door handle no longer works and they try and charge me 1.5 hours fort the work they did. I told them I told them they wasn't supposed to work on anything if it wasn't the key. They basically called me a lier and said I never told them that from the service writer and the service manager. Warning will try and rip u off and overcharge you!!!!!
"Exceptionally"disappointed. Had good service at first. As soon as the dotted line was signed, cannot even get a return phone call. Interior was supposed to be cleaned. Interior was greased up with armor all and absolutely nasty. Had to go over it repetitively to remove filth. Interior storage was sprayed and left without wiping. Less than a quarter tank of fuel. Was told service programmed the key fobs. Remote start does not work still. Salesman handling us was no longer working only 1 week after sale, and we have spoken to 3 people and still cannot get a return call so our remote start can be programmed. Customer service is dropped immediately after the sale evidently.
I would definitely recommend Exceptional Motorcar in Defiance, OH! We recently bought a truck from there, and Tyson went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it! Even adding on the custom parts we requested, and overseeing the entire process to make sure it was done 100% correctly! No hassle, no pushing, just exceptionally friendly and helpful service. We will most definitely be going back! .... Update: It has been several months since we bought this truck, and are still just as happy with it as we were the first day! Zero issues, just the way it should be!
i recently purchased a slverado duramax 2009 it had a hole in the air conditioning coil in the front behind the grill Ryan and owner looked it over and offered me a 6 month warrenty to cover this i thought that was good and purchased it love the truck runs great thanks I am well pleased with all you did

thanks to them i was able to buy a car, for a fair price, within an afternoon. they were willing to stay late to finish up with my paperwork. i made a list of all the things i was looking for in a vehicle and found something that fit here. many of my family members have purchased vehicles from this dealership and found good deals!

I drove over an hour away to look at junk I looked at a truck that was not very old the rockers were almost rusted all the way through the rear quarter panels both had about a 5 inch spot on them were the paint was completely flaked off and rust actually flakin off as well cab corners were starting to rust as well everything in the engine was corroded and pitted almost like it had previous water damage at some point all the guy could say is that's just a little paint flaking off that's not bad from what I've seen I'm the buyer of these trucks needless to say this guy needs a new job and in the back theyhave a huge area that has cars that look like they have been wrecked thats must be what they do fix wrecked cars and sell them I wouldn't waste mg time with this place it's just a big scam it's only a matter of time they get shutdown.
