I bought a refrigerator on Tuesday for Saturday delivery. I told the salesman that I needed my kitchen fridge moved to the garage and the garage fridge hauled away. He wrote it on the delivery order. I spent the next few days having my pantry moved and overhead cabinet removed to make room for the larger fridge. This involved cutting tile, etc. I emptied the garage fridge and moved it to the garage door for easy removal. Furniture was moved to make the move easy. When the delivery guys arrived, they immediately informed me (with much sexist condescension) that they would only remove my (perfectly good) kitchen fridge and would not touch the broken garage fridge. After calling my adult daughter "baby", things deteriorated. The delivery guy said he would go out to his truck to check something, then just drove away with my new fridge! I was left with groceries all over my kitchen and no fridge! I tried to call the store, but the only available number is a call center. When they transferred me to the store, no one answered! I waited until Monday to call the store manager. Again, the call center. Transferred to the store after 15 minutes on hold, and again, no answer. After another 16 minutes on hold, I finally got someone at the store who just dropped my call when I asked for a manager! This is way beyond terrible service. Addendum: On Monday i visited the store since no one answers the phone. I very quickly met with the store manager, who was appalled and had my fridge delivered the next day by actual Brandsmart employees. They were very nice and professional. They did not seem terribly familiar with assembling and unpacking the appliance, but they got it done with no drama. It turns out that Brandsmart contracts with Ryder to deliver many of their appliances. I would never let them near my house again. Just make sure your delivery is completed by actual store employees. (I did really get a good deal on my fridge!)
