If your just getting a haircut you'll be fine but I would NOT recommend getting color as I had a horrible experience here and left with horribly damaged hair after getting a $200 coloring done. I've spent over $100 in products to fix my hair now and sadly my hair is fried to a crisp and looks copper-orange!
I found Rachel on a Houston hairstyle page on Facebook and her prices were very affordable. I was apprehensive about going to her because the prices were so low. So I said to myself it's only $50 for a sew in bob so if she messes me up it wouldn't hurt my pockets so much. So I gave her a chance…
BEWARE: This salon has some serious problems with the expertise of their staff. I got a toe fungus from them, which they tried to explain away as something I had before I used them -- NOT SO! Then, three of their wax technicians burned me. The finale was a very badly botched chemical peel that left my skin so badly pigmented and damaged I now am under the treatment of a dermatologist to attempt to repair their damage. I made the management aware of what had happened but heard nothing back until I told them I was never coming back, showing them the damage to my neck. A manager on duty couldn't be bothered to come out of her office to talk to me, but told the woman at the front desk to ask me if I would be willing to talk to her. I said I would....that was 6 months ago and still no call. Don't waste your money or risk your health. They charged WAY too much for such lack of knowlege, training, expertise and lack of care.
This is obviously a hair place and not a waxing (eyebrows) place, I needed to get my eyebrows done, so I decided to stop, never agian....I paid $45.00 if I would have known that she would have ruined my eyebrows, I would of went to a nail shop and have the vietnamise nail techs mess up my eyebrows for $12.00. They were very nice, but they should not be allowed to "shape" eyebrows.
Very very poor service. Was recommened to come here. Drove 30 minutes to have my hair highlighted, but was told my hair was damaged. After 10 hair washes, color stripped and recolored I looked around to see returning clients with their hair fried only to get highlights. 3 1/2 hours later was charged $120.00 to be told would highlight hair on next visit. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last place on EARTH!!!
Fired my hair, left bleach on for over 35 minutes! Chopped the ends of it and used an ungodly amount of prouduct to cover it up! I would not waste my time! Worst $100 I have EVER spent!~BLEACH BLONDE(as of recent)
I would recommend going elsewhere. I paid over 150 dollars to have my hair colored. first they didn't even come close to the color I wanted, and in the process they fried my hair, and used tons of hair products to cover it up. I now have to get my hair cut really short to get rid of all the damage done. I wouldn't even give it one star, but it called for it. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!
My wife and I are looking for a new salon, and today we tried out Salon Accente. We were "walk ins" and were given appointments about an hour after our arrival time. The stylist who cut my hair did a pretty good job until she turned the clippers on... She cut the back of my neck in several areas and got a little bit of my ear. Throughout the appointment my stylist exchanged negative banter with the receptionist and told me a story about herself that indicated she practiced cutting hair without credentials. My wife was not pleased with the result of her time in the chair. She provided her stylist with a picture of herself that she wanted the stylist to recreate - didn't even come close! We will continue our search for a new salon, and I'm not sure that I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for professionalism in their stylist. This salon might be an excellent candidate for Tabatha's Salon Takeover.
