About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This is the only facility of its kind in this area. It is a mixture of sober living with a Habitat For Humanity like program. Very unique.

Don't go to this shelter

I went to the shelter in need of immediate help from my abuser. I had my 2 year old son with me. The night I was entered into the shelter went good. As well as when I woke up the next day everyone was friendly and I felt stress free. Mind you being in a women's Shelter with broken women (as myself) it raised tension and jealousy as time passed, most were jealous that I had my son there with me as most of the women were battling dcfs cases and were at dove to get there kids back. So as time passed the women and workers that I thought I had a bond with turned on me. These workers are mean, rude and have ZERO patience with children. The women started complaining that my son was Loud and I got kicked out for the complaints of the women saying my son was loud. (Mind you, he is a 2 year old. They woke me up at 830 am and told me that me and my son had to leave i asked them to reconsider but they were rude and had no remorse or sympathy for kicking me and my baby out. In the winter this January. They didn't give me bags for My things as I was leaving. And everything I shared with a case worker about something personal, the whole office knew about it. I was really disappointed in the way things turned out I actually wanted to grow there. If you have children in your custody this is not a good place for you to go. This all took place last week. Thanks take care everyone. I hope your experiences are better show less
