My husband, both my kids and I are patients at the primary care center for a few years now. I found this place when I use to take my mom over there for her doctor visits. I use to go to some other doctor in Decatur before then. When I saw how good they were with my mom, I switched and I am glad I did. I even stopped going to my Gyn because primary care does pap smears too and at cheaper copay than my Gyn..
Everytime my kids are sick, specially on the weekends I take them there .I never have any issues, actually they like going there instead of going to their regular pediatrician. Staff members are very friendly and courteous.
This is by far the best doctor's place I have been to.They deliver what they promise. I have been using this place for all my medical needs for five years now. Dr Shikh is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen and he has the most wonderful bedside manner. Great place, great staff.
I went to this clinic because I had a cough that has been going on for more than 3 weeks. The doctor was abrupt and told me he wanted to take a chest x-Ray to make sure I didn't have walking pneumonia. I asked if there was no other way to check for pneumonia. The doctor insisted that was the only way to make sure. It turns out that there actually is a specific blood test for walking pneumonia. Either the doctor is a liar and just wanted insurance money for taking an x-Ray, or he is incompetent and doesn't know and didn't bother to find out that there was a blood test for walking pneumonia. Either way, I was unnecessarily exposed to radiation thanks to his incompetency or blatant lie, and I still don't know for sure if I have walking pneumonia or not.

If you need outstanding healthcare on your schedule, this is the place to go. I have been going to the Primary Care Center on N. Decatur Road in Decatur, GA for over 10 years now, and every time I've been there, I have received the highest level of compassionate care from every individual there.
All of the Intake professionals, medical assistants, technologists, and Doctors I have seen at the Primary Care Center provide the highest quality of care every single time.

The doctor will rip you off. You will not get an itemized receipt for your visit.
I called ahead, they told me that visits start at $92, and go up after that depending on if you have any tests done. I refused all tests, my case was as simple as possible so no tests were needed. I knew I had strep throat. The doctor even told me that even if he did test me, the test has a 10% inaccuracy rate so they would treat me even if the test was negative. So I had no tests performed. Why then, are you charging me $120 instead of the $92 for a simple visit, I asked. The nurse told me, ""the doctor decides how much the visit costs and enters in a code, so I don't know what made it cost more."" So no one could tell me where I incurred the extra $28 charge. Did I ask too many questions? Was I not friendly enough? Does the doctor not like my t-shirt? Where is the criteria for his charges? Is it okay that he just shrugs his shoulders and pulls a number out of the air and decides to charge that? NO. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC.
It's not right that they took advantage of me - I am a poor student who waits tables and I don't have insurance. The doctor knew that, but the corruption that apparently flows through his veins clouds his judgment, and he sees dollar signs on his patients. Don't contribute to this kind of practice.
