I have never lived in a TomKat apartment or townhome but I highly recommend them to my daughter who is looking for a place for her and my granddaughter. I was in maintenance supervision for over 20 years and I know a great complex when I see one. The property must be clean, buildings must be in great shape, during the night the lightning must be bright and not a lot of people hanging around outside. And must be quiet ! TomKat pass with flying colors. Every property they have a vacant sign in front of.....passed! I hope everything go well for my daughter and she will have the security of living on a TomKat property. Thank you Kathy for being so nice and professional today. You are the best !!

Prior to checking with Tomkat j looked at several other places and none of them could even compare. I looked at two of their properties. One on Gaslight and one on Westmead. Both of the units I looked at were beautiful and very well kept. I chose Gaslight just bc it had new units in it. I stayed a full year here and loved every day of it. It was quiet and never had any issues. On top of that, Tom and Kay are possibly the best landlords I've ever had. Kay is super nice and they are very quick to resolve any issues. They even brought a box of chocolate to the units around Christmas. It's a simple gesture that shows how much they actually appreciate their tenants. I would 100% reccomend them to anyone looking for a place to live in the Decatur area!

Kay and Tom are AMAZING!!! The property is affordable, well kept, safe, and quiet. If I have any issues or concerns, they are addressed promptly and professionally. Just recently, there was an issue with my heating unit. Kay offered to bring me a heater at almost 10pm. Talk about SUPERIOR SERVICE!! The next day, by lunch, the unit was fixed. (Turns out a part had to be replaced by Decatur Utilities. My gas wasn't working). They stayed all over it until it was resolved. Love..Love..Love everything here!!!

If your looking for a place to stay with all the amenities needed, ready to move in very clean & well maintained establishment then Tomkat Properties then look no further. Close to shopping, restaurants, in a quite setting. Owner/Manager (Kay and Tommy Williams) will make you feel right at home and make your stay very pleasant.

Excellent amenities. Well maintained. Quiet neighborhood. Close proximity to all stores and gas stations. Most of all, very hospitable and caring Owner/Manager (Kat and Tommy Williams).

My husband and I have stayed here twice and loved it. Within walking distance of lots of businesses but still quiet. Very clean and great owners. If you need short term furnished rental they have them. Will stay again!! 5*****

I stayed at these apartments for a summer internship and loved my time there. It close to everything I ever needed but was still quiet and peaceful for after a long day at work. The owners are very accommodating and willing to work with you whenever anything arises. Highly recommend staying there.

Spent 12 months at these apartments and highly recommend them. Quiet, Secure, and close to resturants and shopping.

I needed a place to stay for 10 weeks while I interned at one of the local factories. It was fully furnished including sheets, towels, dishes and cooking utensils; high speed internet, TV and all utilities (water, electricity (place had HVAC)) were included in the price ($900/mth). I arrived and everything was clean and working. I'm told the price was a little high for the area, but considering the amount of effort that I put in to renting it was exchanging emails with them two months ahead of time and then arriving to a put together apartment I am completely happy with it.

Tom and Kay were great landlords, if something needed fixing it got taken care of quickly with no hassle on my part. I would definitely rent from them again if I was back in the Decatur area. You're not going to do better as far as non-sketchy apartments go in Decatur.

I need a temporary place to stay while working in town and happen to see an ad for TomKat properties. I was blessed to find an affordable, clean, and safe home. Kat made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The apartment had everything I needed and more! Thanks for your hospitality!
