Set up an appointment with them, the repairman never showed up. The manager promised me the repair person was coming the next day, never showed up either. I took two days off from work for this. I called the second day and the manager tells me that I have been re assigned to another company by my warranty company. this was not true, Lovelace services called the warranty company and requested that they drop me as their costumer. Full of lies.
If there was a 10 rating, I would use it. They have been assigned to several repairs under my home warranty. They are always very courteous and take great care to communicate every step of the way. They have gone out of there way more than once to accommodate my schedule and they always do quality work. I hope my warranty company continues to send them. They are top notch!!!
They were NOT dependable and they were NOT concerned about the heat causing us health problems! Our A/C went out on Sunday and we placed a call requesting assistance immediately (Sunday night). We also told them that I have asthma so I do not need to be without a/c service any longer than absolutely necessary. They were supposed to call us Monday but we got no call. We called them again Tuesday and were told they were waiting for other work in this area before coming this way. We are approximately 5 miles from the Lawrence/Morgan County line and approximately 14 miles from their office. We continued to call each day reminding them of my asthma. The technician finally came to our home around mid-day on Thursday, told us he had to get parts for it, and would be back Thursday afternoon on his way back to his office. He never called nor showed up. However, he was able to go to Florence, AL which is almost an hour drive from his office! He came by this morning (Friday) but did not let us know until later in the day. He called to report that he had been by and had gotten the unit working but was not finished with his work. He stated that he would come by Friday afternoon on his way home. Again, he did not call or come to our house. Electrical wires are hanging out the top of the unit and the cover is not fastened. Their actions state that we do not matter to them! In the meantime, I now have tightness and pain in my chest, coughing, and wheezing. My asthma was totally under control on Sunday when we called but now I am having to use two inhalers, take extra medications, and take breathing treatments because they don't care! Will we ever get our unit repaired? Who knows! I can assure you, they would want a repairman to treat them the way they have treated us!
I was looking for an affordable, reliable, and efficient company to repair our a/c unit. I found that AND more when I called Lovelace. Our technician was Houston. From the start, his professionalism and patience with our particular situation impressed us. Just as agreed, he called before he arrived and he was here when he said he'd be here--and got right to work. His 27 years of experience and expertise was obvious as he quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem with our unit, where other companies had failed! The fix required a part that he didn't have. He WAITED with my husband as he called the local stores trying to locate the part. They didn't understand what my husband was asking for, but Houston got on the phone and was able to convey our needs and settled the situation with ease. Here's what is so refreshing, especially in this day and age: We know nothing about how our unit works. In lieu of that, there arose the opportunity to cheat us. Many would have, but Houston CHOSE not to. Instead, he went the extra mile to ensure that my husband understood and knew what to do. The repair could not be completed immediately, but Houston did not leave until he made sure, by providing a temporary fix, that we and our children no longer had to suffer the heat. He did not leave until we, the customer, were completely satisfied and confident that he had fixed our problem. He had the correct answer for everything we asked him and he explained it to where we were educated and better prepared should any other problems occur. Not only was Houston experienced and competent, he demonstrated a level of integrity that assured me that this a company that my family and I can trust. I tried Lovelace this first time to see if they could help. I will call them the next time, because I KNOW they can.
THIS COMPANY WAS VERY CURTIOUS AND PROMPT TO ARRIVE. I HAVE USED OTHER COMPANYS IN AREA AND WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LOVELACE FOR ANY HEATING OR COOLING REPAIRS.tHEY ALSO DO APPLIANCES BUT I HAVE NOT YET HAD THE PLEASURE OF USING THEM FOR THIS TYPE OF REPAIR.
