Our beloved Gandolf, a hundred pound dog, went down hill fast and we could not reach our vet (who we picked cause she came to house, cause Gandolf was tramitized by car trips} Dr Mark was available and we were to bring Gandolf in late on Saturday, but even my two sons could not get Gandolf in car. Dr Mark came to house and we had to put Gandolf down. I was so much relieved that Gandolf could leave us in his own home. We will miss our Gandy so much, for a large dog, he was a hugger, made it to 13 yrs.
Thank you Dr. Mark. We have found a new vet.
We've been going to Dr. Sheffield for 4+years now with our dogs and cats. He has always been very kind and had my animals best interest at heart. Dr. Sheffield quoted me low, moderate, & high end care options and always made to feel comfortable even when my budget may only allow me to do the minimal care option. I've recommended 4 close friends to bring their beloved pets here for care and they now do with great satisfaction.
I have brought my dog here twice. The first time the dr was very UNfriendly, he did not even say hi or introduce himself and acted impatient when I was asking questions concerning my dog. I thought maybe he was having a bad day so I went back a second time about 6 months later and he was very unprofessional and rude yet again! I excitedly told him we were going to be adopting a second dog and he said to me, "how would you like it if your husband brought home another woman!" And then walked out of the room!!! I was shocked he would say something like that. I will never ever go back there again. Extremely rude man.
I came in a couple weeks ago with my elderly dog snickers who was having urinary issues. I have been to several other vets and no one could seem to figure out the problem, as soon as Dr. Sheffield examined him he knew what was wrong right away and with the proper medication and treatment he is his energetic self again with no issues!!! Dr. Sheffield saved my dog and I will always be very thankful for this! He really is an amazing veterinarian!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sheffield and his practice. Another vet botched our cat's surgery and not only did Dr. Sheffield take us in an emergency immediately (even though we had never been there before), but he fixed him up perfectly and made sure his surgery healed correctly. Wonderful staff and we're grateful to have found him!

I have been to several doctors for my cat lossing her hair never solving the problem! I Found AA Animal clinic and figured I would give them a try. Dr. Sheffield was very detailed in examining my cat. It turned out that she had a skin infection after one visit my cat has her hair back!! I recommend this doctor that is in need of a vet! He knows his stuff and the staff is great too!!!

I have been to several dotors for skin issues with my dog with no real help! I went tot Dr. SHeffield and after my first visit my dogs skin started getting better and now it is totally healed! I recommend this doctor to anyone that needs a vet he definetly knows his stuff!!
Staff and Dr. very knowledgable on bunnies. Dr. may seem abrupt at times, but he tells it like it is. Prices seem expensive when you're in there, but comparing, he is right up there in what a "GOOD" vet should cost. That way you know the animal is getting the care it needs. After getting my bunnies right before Christmas, they've been treated twice because of neglect from the pet store and then from one eating something he shouldn't have. Once the Dr. saw and treated my bunnies, they act like normal bunnies should act, Happy and Healthy. I just brought them home from being neutered there, and so far everything has gone very well! He even called after hours to make sure that I don't let them move around too much so that they don't rupture anything. His staff is extremely helpful, nice and knowledgable. One even brought in hay/food from her house so that they would have what they needed during their stay. She also let me know I could call with any personal questions that I might have regarding the rabbits at anytime. I would recommend this vet to anyone, especially bunny lovers!

We took our Sugar Glider to this doctor because she was VERY sick. My daughter in tears the vet asked us to pay $800 - $900 for xrays and (a word it won't let me write here) work. I informed him I would do it in a heartbeat if I did have it. Then he says I will give her antibiotics and calcium shots ($226 - which was he diagnoses: her calcium was way to low from not getting any direct sunlight) if we PROMISED to follow his instructions exactly with his home treatment plan. Never once did he say ""this might not work or we can TRY this"". She stopped breathing in my daughters hands 5 hours later. Very distraught I ran her back to the vet (she died in route) where he didn't even come out to console or even try to explain the possibilities of her death to us. I suppose he thought his job was done. When returning home I researched extensively to find that you should NEVER EVER put a Sugar Glider in direct sunlight. This can blind them. I told him that I had never read this anywhere. He treated me as if I was just ill informed and should have researched better. Research is complete, he was wrong and was unbelievably uncaring. I am not naive.. I didn't believe she would make it however he gave undoubtful hope that she would survive to my daughter and myself. If he had just once said I can't know FOR SURE until the I do (a word it won't let me write here) work or take an xray....we would have at the very least gone for a second opinion.
