I took my car to AAMCO due to the car drive funny. They stated I needed a new transmission and they quoted me 3600. They stated if I kept driving the car I could cause serious damage. I took my car to another transmission shop for a second opinion. They stated I needed to replace the solenoid in the transmission. It cost me. $300 and I have been driving for the last month with no issues. Don't take your car to AAMOCO unless you want to get ripped off.

The staff at Precision Auto are wonderful. They were honest and explained what needed to be done and why it was needed. They went above and beyond to keep us informed and give friendly, quality service. We were very pleased with the service all around.
I was very appalled at the treatment I got from the owner of this establishment. He was very unprofessional and rude. I came with a small servo adjustment request, literally no more than a 15 minute swap, no dropping of the tranny. I was told go do it yourself. Apparently this man doesn't have time for small jobs. There was a tech present, and he seemed a little more compassionate about my request, but was helpless to the owners attitude, and therefore could not help me. No room for the small jobs. Thumbs down, and I gave one star because there's no option to give no stars.
These guys are the best! I recently purchased a used car and sad to say that it started having problems within a couple months. I brought it to Precision Transmission on a recommendation from a busy shop closer to home. I'm so lucky they were too busy for me! Not only was Precision Transmission completely honest about what was wrong. They showed me exactly how they came to that conclusion and walked me through the process of fixing it. Next they let me know honestly what else was wrong and how much it would cost. When Jennifer saw the worried look on my face, she asked her husband to put the list in order of importance. When I went to pick up my car, he explained what each problem was and how soon it needed to be addressed. They even let me know that one of the issues, wasn't really an issue and might not ever become a problem. I also shopped around at prices before I brought it to them, and their prices are comparable if not better than many of the other places in the area. I know when I take it to them, what they quote is what I'll pay. Never have they tacked on unseen expenses or additional labor. I am so glad that I have found Precision Transmission - an Honest, Trustworthy, and Dependable company. I won't take my car anywhere else!
That's right, they destroyed my engine when I brought it in to have the rear seal replaced. The "highly qualified" tech left a wrench on thé crank pulley nut and started the engine. Unscrewed the pulley, jumped timing, and the pistons slammed into the valves. After stalling, and denying anything was wrong, they finally installed a junk yard engine. And then had the nerve to charge me for the rear seal job!Prior to destroying my perfectly good engine, they had put me through the same scam the other posters have described. This place is so crooked....go anywhere else!By the way, I posted this review a while ago and it disappeared....hmmmm.
Interestingly this company's previous listing with negative feedback is gone and this new one appeared. Below is my original feedback. This place was absolutely terrible. Initially told a few hundred dollars. Once my car was in pieces, they told me the new price was $2200.00. When I complained about the price jump, they advised they would be happy to put my transmission back together "the way it was" and my bill would be about $700.00. That's $700 for the same broken piece of crap. So, I was stuck having to pay $2200. A few days later, the same problems developed. Took days for them to diagnose the problem. Now they said the problem was my 4 wheel drive, about $500. Again, once apart, the bill sky-rocketed to $1900.00. Again I complained, and again they gave the BS line that they could alwalys put it back together and just pay for their labor and parts thus far. Two weeks later, again the same problem. THis time, a $290 part. After speaking with Ford, they believed that the problem this entire time has been the $290 part... believing that nothing was wrong with the tranny and nothing was wrong with the 4x4 drive to begin with.$4500 later my truck runs like crap. I would not recommed tghis place at all.
Wow very high tech. I went there on a google search. They had a good rating so I went there. Not only was the price good but they repair my Mercedes in 1 day while I watched on their webcams via their website. Too cool
The number is supposed to be 386 677-6334 good ole AT&T
I took my 2001 Ford F150 to their shop because my transmission stopped shifting. I assumed it needed to be rebuilt and wanted an estimate. They called me 2 hours later and told me I needed a speed sensor for 75.00 It fixed it.Two other shops tried to tell me over $1,800.00 for a overhaul that I guess I didn't need. Now I willsend everyone there that I can. Finally an honest mechanic.
Nice waiting room and mostly real intelligent staff.
