Traffic shoes return policy is just a scam. You end up with maybe six dollars if you return the shoes. It's pathetic to rip off your customers that way.
Worst customer service ever. I stopped by Traffic Shoes to get my friend a surprise pair of shoes. She wears size 6. The shoe i picked up only had size 6.5 and above. I though 0.5 size won't matter and upon check out, i told the cashier that this is a surprise and just in case if she does not like it, can we return, she responded by saying, 'we do not do refunds, but if you pick up any other shoe from the same section, we can do an exchange at no cost.' That was good enough for me and i purchased the shoes. The shoes were big on my friend, and next day (less than 24 hours) we went back to exchange and get her something that fits . My friend chose another pair from same section and took it to checkout. There was another person at checkout today. Straight up she says, "This pair is $10 more than the one you are returning. Are you willing to pay the difference?" I told her that the cashier from yesterday said that i can pick any from this section at no cost. She speaks to her co worker in Spanish and says, "well, the person working here yesterday was new." I was what about the prices underneath the shoes. She says, "well, they just forgot to update the prices." And she tells her co worker to go and update the prices. At this point we were stuck, since their return policy did not return money but exchange was the only option.I could have understood if she was kind, she she was rude through out, speaking to her co worker in a language we did not understand and not once did she apologize.Employee/Cashier name: Candice
My husband and I stopped into Dales shoe store today because I've decided I'd like to invest in a solid pair of athletic shoes that are right for my feet. We walked into the store and while their selection was definitely assorted, it didn't make a lot of sense when it came to navigating shoes and sizes (to me at least). The real bummer from the entire visit is that we walked through the whole store passing at least three different sales reps (two of which were with customers but looked up) and none of them acknowledged us or even said "Hello". Both my husband and I have worked in retail/customer service positions and thought this was appalling. When you walk into a place prepared to spend $150 for a pair of shoes you expect better service. We will NOT be visiting this place again. Hopefully one of their competitors has better customer service.
The staff looks mesirable and is extremely rude. Some young burnnet girl smacking on gum was my cashier and she was the most unfriendly girl I have ever delt with in my life. She looked so hostile and unhappy that I was afraid of her! Try on a smile! She acted like someone just killed her dog. Kept having me repeat myself and yelling at me. She never said "please", "thank you" or even "have a nice day". Really don't think the service industry is the right job for her. I took the manager aside and told her how horrible we were treated but she did not care. She stared at me with this dead-fish look and didn't offer an apology. That particular store makes me believe hell does exists. I'd rather choke on a shoe then deal with any of those people again!
Friendly and knowledgeable!
Great selection of shoes in every width and size you can get at some of the best prices I've ever seen! Highly recommend!
