I have a 2002 Harley with a lot of miles on it, 152,000 to be exact, and took it in for a few things to be done, including a clutch repair, turn signal and cruise control fix, which they didn't do, and a few items to be installed. Brigit kept the bike for 10 days before even looking at it. Only after I stopped in to see where they were with my repair did she get started. What they did was adjust the clutch, didn't bother to attempt a repair, then install 1 of the 3 extra's I asked to be installed. Brigit then calls me and tells me my bike is unsafe and she will not allow her mechanics to test drive it! I have had the bike worked on before, at much more reputable shops and I also do some of my own repairs, and have never been told about or seen anything on my bike being unsafe. Usually if something is unsafe you let the owner know about it and repair it. Not at Brigit's, she walks away and doesn't try, making up stories about being too unsafe for her to allow anyone to ride it.. She might be ok on newer low mileage bikes, but she doesn't know much about any more challenging bike repair...Avoid her at all cost. Oh, and speaking of cost, she charged me 500 for doing basically nothing to my bike. What a ripoff!! Never going back there and I am telling everyone about this awful experience!
These people are top notch! We broke down in Sturgis and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. We thank all you guys for helping us during…
I’ve been bringing my bike to MWC for 2 years now, and it’s been nothing but great. I don’t shop price, I shop for knowledge and expertise, so I’ve never had reason to go anywhere else. I also love the fact that Eric has his own dyno onsite, so it’s easy to document the increases in power resulting from the work they do on the bike. I want it done right, and this is where I bring it.
I have been a customer of Monkey Works in So. Daytona for more years than I can count. I have taken my motorcycle there and have been fully satisfied. They are honest and very experienced. Pricing is more than fair. The owner is meticulous about each and every bike that is brought in. You will not be disappointed when it comes to Monkey Works in So. Daytona.
Do NOT bring your bike here if you don't plan on spending at least $200. If your bill/repair is something cheap and minor, they will mechanically sabatosh your bike so you come back to fix it for major repairs. They do this selectively depending on how gullible the customer appears. I had a senior mechanic check my bike after they worked on my bike and they purposely over tighten components (will not name for obvious reasons) to create a wear process which becomes accelerated. They do this by asking you what else is wrong with the bike. Their mechanic is inexperienced as well. If you don't have someone who can look over your bike after they are done with it, I would not go anywhere near this place. (no biased as this person fixed and did not take any money from me) You will be out thousandths of dollars before you know it if you don't look over the bike after they are done. Also, they have had law suits from similar discretion's in the past. This more then likely is from their inexperienced staff.
The owner is a crook. Do not do business here.He will scam you out of your money and rob you blind.
Great people!! I needed some tire work and Eric and his crew treated me very well. One of my tires I thought had a slow leak, Turned out the valve stem was loose. No charge.Check them out, you wont be disappointed!
Great job Monkey Works!! Bike runs great now. I appreciate the honesty, no BS here. You've got my business from now on. Thank You!
The best shop in Daytona, thanks so much for helping us out and staying open. it"s people like you who we need to thank as you work so hard and it not all about money Jerry scooter
This place is great!!!!!! Not only do they do great service but they have the best prices anywhere I am on my 2nd bike from them. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and really takes care of the customer not only after the sale but rather for the long term customer.
If you want a motorcycle than you have got to go to pompano pats to check them out. They have the nicest bikes in town. The prices are always right. They got a bank to finance my CBR when no one else could. I went into one shop and they didn’t even want to talk to me because I told them I had a bankruptcy 2 years ago. I’m not a bad guy, I just had a hard time. If I ever buy another bike it will be from Pompano Pat’s Daytona.
