        Overall

        I will NEVER stay at this place again. My family and I have stayed here once before a few years back and everything was great. We decided to book here again and this time it was a nightmare. We had so many issues with the room. With all the issues we had (explained more in detail below) we were not offered any type of reimbursement or discounts. The only positive thing from this was the lady who worked there. She was very nice and apologetic with things but didn't really offer anything to us for all our problems. I feel like she wasn't allowed to for some reason or she would have. She even admitted to a family member of mine that they were having a lot of complaints lately. After reading my complaints do you blame them???

        Our first night our room was very muggy and hot. The next day we found out the air condition froze. For this reason it caused water to leak through the ceiling and eventually part of the ceiling fell. It was fixed a few hours later but we were told there were no more rooms available expect a city view room. We paid for an oceanfront room and I was getting the impression that we wouldn't get reimburse for changing rooms if we had. In addition to the day we arrived we found a dirty pan with grease and meat in it shoved in the stove. Who knows how long it had been there. Obviously if the maids were doing their job correctly they would have seen this and cleaned it up or they did see it and just didn't feel like cleaning it . The door to get into the room and the door to go out to the patio were so hard to open and close that you practically had to use full force of your body to just open and close it. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so when you took a shower you had to keep the door open to even get air. On top of that one of the lights in the bathroom burned out so the lighting sucked and the drain in the bath tub was broken. I couldn't even give my very young kiddo a proper bath.

        The maintenance on the elevator was a little iffy as well because whoever worked on it programmed it to where we had to push the up button to actually go down. Apparently it was only on our floor. It freaked me out because who knew if we were going to get stuck on it.

        I asked the gentleman who worked there if we could leave a day early because of all the problems and he basically told me if you leave a day early you leave a day early. After our vacation I called this place to see if I could contact information about the people who are in charge here because I was so unhappy here. The gentleman answered and he was so rude that I hung up on him. He basically told me that he wasn't allowed to give me that information and that I had to do my own research and figure it out on my own. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???? I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau.
