This Walgreens location (I can only speak about this one) is completely unconcerned for their customers! For over a decade they have been pushing their 90 day supply refill on every piece of literature I've gotten from them. But today on one of my few days off they called me and woke me up pushing their 90 day supply (something I can't afford anyway!) with this supposed "courtesy" call. Did they think I was blind or didn't know how to read and that I didn't get the message the first one million times? No a SALES call!A genuine courtesy call would have been one to let me know they were no longer going to be open 24 hours! A big thing to someone who doesn't always work a standard shift but not one call, text, email nothing! Or maybe a call that they were substituting my regular medication with something that looked nothing like the usual pills and of course I couldn't call and make sure they were correct so I could take them that night because they were no longer open 24 hours! I called to speak with the manager about this "courtesy" call but was put on hold for 10 minutes more of their "courtesy" ! Walgreens needs to learn that a courtesy call should be a courtesy to the customer not to their business! Maybe it's time to find out if another location is better or if it's all of Walgreens that doesn't understand the definition of "courtesy" !

First of all this urgent care center needs to update their website so customers can leave comments. Second, I was not too impressed with this center. The staff was not very friendly from the beginning. In addition, once my vitals were taken, I waited for the doctor for 30 mins. No one ever bothered to check to see if I was ok or even to update me on when the doctor would be in. So I took it upon myself to wander out into the hallway to find someone that could help before leaving due to frustration. Wouldn't you know the first person I ran into was the female doctor. I told her that I'd been waiting to see the doctor for 30 mins and she goes on to say that she's the doctor and had no idea that I was in the room waiting. That to me says they need some sort of system to notify the doctors when patients are waiting. I couldn't believe it. She kept apologizing then came into the room about two minutes later. I never did get her name because she immediately asked why I was there. After it was all said and done, she diagnosed me with a common cold which i found hard to believe. So here I am 4 days later not feeling any better after taking the recommended meds: Mucinex and Flonase. Not to mention I'm losing my voice. I can't wait to see my family doctor this week and tell him about my experience. It was a total waste of time and money!
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! The lady taking my vitals was uneducated and seemed confused as to what she was doing. I had to spell each and every medication that I was allergic to and currently taking then she still put the wrong meds in. The "DR" was a joke! He walked in with his shirt unbuttoned and chest revealed with a dingy looking lab coat that had food stains on it. I was being seen for a bad cough and was told it was just a virus that pregnant women get that they cant shake and wrote me a prescription for cough syrup that I can buy over the counter. No antibiotics that I needed because I am pregnant and he wasn't an OB. I followed up with my OB today and have BACTERIAL PNEUMONIA!!! Not just a "virus". This place is a total joke and I will NOT be back if my life depended on it. How this place is still up and running is beyond me!
I recently came back to dayton for a funeral. When I left my home state i was in a hurry and could not get a perscription filled. When I got to Ohio most of the pharmacies in the Dayton area would not fill my perscription. All they had to do was call my home state and ask my pharmacy or talk to my doctor. After the 7th pharmacy saying "No" I was out of options. I stopped by Zik's on 3rd Street and explained my situation. The staff there was understanding and helpful. I don't know the pharmacists name but I think it was Nnodum Iheme? Whoever it was He helped me out extraordinarily well. He made the calls for me. Told me why I was having problems getting it filled. The problem was it was at the Pharmacists discrestion. All the "chain" stores and pharmacys didn't have time for me. My only regret about Zik's is they don't have a location in my home state so that I can give them more of my business. They were able to fill my perscription in about 45 minutes. It took that long because they were waiting for my home pharmacy to call them back and verify my information. Thank you Zik's for helping me through a tough time and doing the extra work! It was one less thing to think about during my hard time. If I ever relocate back to Dayton you are my first choice. Michael B.
