Do not use this company. Also goes by Spencer Family tree care. They took advantage of a senior citizen. Did not finish the job. Said they would be back the next day, took the money because "have to pay my workers" and never heard from them again! Won't return calls, no explanation!
This company did an awesome job at my house. When they were done, they had picked up all the debris in my yard, and you couldn't even tell they had been there except my trees were all evenly cut and looked perfect! Thks Buckeye!
I do NOT recommend this guy. The only reason we needed a tree service was because a few branches grew in front of our satellite dish and needed pruned. He said he understood this when he was at the house and talked us into a bunch of other things, which is fine. Here is where it went downhill.First, he never provided me a copy of the estimate. Nevertheless, he showed up the next day, cut down a couple trees that we agreed to have him do, and he pruned a tree over the house (which we did not ask him to do). It looked okay, so I paid him in cash. Another RED FLAG: He did not give me a receipt.Later that night, we went to watch TV and realized he cut about every branch possible EXCEPT the one that needed taken down-which, again, is the only reason we hired him. I immediately called, and he said he would be back out the next day (Friday) if he could or Monday at the latest. I did not think this was a problem, since earlier that evening, he said he would come back Friday to work on some more of our trees if we wanted to pony up more cash. So, he had time-he just chose not to come back out.Monday came and went. I left multiple messages from my cell phone, all unanswered. The next day (Tuesday), I called him from work, and as I was leaving a message, I saw on the caller ID that he was calling back. Once he got to my work voice mail, he, of course, did NOT leave a message. When I got home Tuesday, we called from another phone number and he picked up, thinking we were a new sucker. I proceeded to ask why he has yet to show up and finish the job. After he had already admitted on Thursday that he missed the right branches and would come back out, he now said that he did the job we asked. I told him that if he did not come out to finish the job, I would be letting everyone know, including the Better Business Bureau and my attorney. Long story short, he told me I could ...take that f---ing tree and shove it up my f---ing a--!... and hung up.
