The Montgomery County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, also known as MRDD, is a service provider for children and adults with mental and developmental disabilities. It offers services from birth throughout the life span of individuals. The board also provides legally mandated services to families. The Montgomery County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities additionally provides adult habilitation, production and community employment services. It offers information and referral assistance solutions. The Montgomery County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities provides emergency assistance and monitoring services. The board offers home modification, counseling, training and education services. It provides an adult recreation program that includes a range of leisure and social activities.
