M & R saved me a lot of money! I thought the motor was bad on my A/C unit. I called them before I brought it in and they had me bring in the capacitor, too. They took one look at my capacitor, told me it was bad, and then tested my motor right there on the spot, determining it was still good. The guy at the counter even made sure I understood how to hook everything back up before I left. A new capacitor had my A/C up and running for a lot less than I could have paid!
I dropped my motor off for repair and they said it wasnt feasible to repair it and quoted me a price for a new motor. Long story short when I picked up my parts, I noticed my long electrcal cord with a white two prong plug had beed switched out on me. They gave me back a shorter one with a single retainer prong. It was red in color and mine was white. I remember it, it was white and I had to pinch both sides to get it loose. I had a spa repaiman install a new motor and had to use that shorter cord that M&R returned to me. It fit but only had the one retainer prong. My unit worked great for three days then quit. Upon inspection, I found a burned out connector plug and a fried circulation circuir board. Their dishonesty in switching out my original cord cost me several hundred dollars. I called them out on it and Scott denied it and said "they dont switch cords". I call Bull shit!!!! I wont use them ever again! BEWARE when using this company! Take pictures of your stuff! Also, if something doesn't seem right, go with you gut and stand your ground! Thank for nothing M&R! I will never use them again!!!
