He reassured us he would be there and was when we arrived at the dealership, he and others personally helped us transfer all our camping gear from our dead car to the rental and assured us he would oversee the diagnosis and, if practical, the repair of our vehicle.

Full disclosure: I've come here for many years and have always loved this place. But even for a long time customer, there's always a worry that when you going to a dealership with a specific complaint or sound you're hearing, they're going to take that opportunity to find something wrong and charge a lot of money to fix it. Nevertheless, my brakes were making a weird noise and I asked for them to check it out during a routine oil change, and I fully expected a call later on letting me know that in fact I did need hundreds of dollars’ worth of new brakes. What a pleasant surprise to get a phone call saying there's just a little bit of glazing, it won't affect brake performance, and your brakes are fine. Someday of course I'll need new brakes, and this is the place I'll go to get them.

Great service department- I only needed a headlight bulb replacement but I wasn't able to get to the headlight myself, so I brought it in, they changed it for free and I was on my way in 5 minutes. Special thanks to Jon for being so friendly and helpful during the process!

Over the last 20 years, I have purchased three cars from University Honda. I bought a new Civic and I absolutely LOVE it! What I also love is the exceptional service I received from the staff at University Honda. Joe, Fred, Tom, Greg and Jennifer are all awesome (and yes Joe is a real person who truly cares about his customers). I won't go into all the details that bring me to this conclusion, but I can say these folks truly went over and above the call of duty in order to make what started out as an awfully bad situation, to one of the best customer experiences I've ever been a part of. I cannot say enough about the quality of this group of folks. In fact, I shared my story/ordeal with one of my girlfriends and she too chooses to buy a car just like mine one week after I did. And yes, she also had a very good consumer experience with the folks at University Honda.

I'm not the type of person to give customer satisfaction reviews. However, in this instance, I feel the folks at University Honda more than deserve.

The courtesy was wonderful. The waiting lounge had brand new Magazines, a Big Screen TV, free coffee / Tea! The staff was amazing!

To my surprise, the final bill was even lower than the estimate price. I have never seen an dealership do this!! Thanks University Honda for a great service at an affordable price!

Got the best value for my money! I checked all over the bay area and no one even came near University Honda’s price. They asked for less money for my B13 service, while the dealers around that I checked, asked me over 220 dollars!

Best car buying experience we had! I first shopped in the internet for a Honda Fit. Neil Gaus replied right away with price and options. He also mentioned that the Honda Civics were on sale and with the sale price, it is not much higher compared to the Fit. The sale was over when we decided to purchase the vehicle but Neil was still able to give us the sale price. He's very pleasant to deal with and is able to tune in and provide what we were looking for.

University Honda has been a locally owned family business for the past 21 years, when i found that out I was stunned usually car dealers are owned by big corporations that all they want is money, at Honda I felt that they truly cared about me, I had an amazing car buying experience everyone was so friendly and not pushy at all. They even let me take the car home for a night before I bought it so I could make sure I wanted it fully. I’ve been to a bunch of dealer ships and have been treated poorly and pushy, the only dealership I will ever go to from now on is University Honda. At university Honda they pride there selves to treat people exactly how they would want to be treated, I’ve never seen that at any other dealer before.

I went in for a quick oil change over the weekend. The service staff was very friendly and polite. The car also needed a minor service, but they didn't hassle to get it done with them unlike other places. I think I could manage to do those things myself. I even asked for a cash wash at the very last minute and he was very nice about it. Sometimes they offer discounts on their website. Highly recommend getting your car serviced here. I was in and out in less than an hour. Ask for Jared! He is at the "Express Service" desk.

I worked with one of the sales person in their internet sales department. Even after he knew I had a better price somewhere else that he couldn't beat, he spent time with me helping me learn more about the car understand what to watch out for in the process.

I now understand why University Honda has such a great reputation. Living in Sacramento it was actually really close to drive to Davis. Don't let the fact that you do not live in Davis stop you from talking with their sales staff. They are AWESOME.

I bought a car from Neil Gaus at University Honda, and it was an amazingly stress free, easy, forthright no hassle process. I emailed, and text-ed Neil for two months about buying a car. I had a crazy schedule and timeline and never once did Neil make me feel pressured to purchase. When it came time to pull the trigger he graciously laid out all of my options and helped us locate exactly what we were looking for on out very tight timeline. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their salesperson Neil and the rest of the Honda staff that I encountered.

We had the best experience purchasing our Cr-v here. The salesperson was super nice and the buying process was quick and simple. There was no game playing or back and forth negotiating... they were just so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend University Honda to anyone looking to buy a Honda.
