My repairman's name was Ralph. Tech ID#739789. He was the best repairman that' I've had and I've had some good ones. He was kind, courteous, very very knowledgeable about all the items he did a maintenance check on as well as the items that he had to replace parts. He also was kind and thoughtful enough to give me a call around 9 AM to tell me he wouldn't get here until 2:30 or later. He also had a wonderful personality. First our dryer was only 4 years old and they had to replace the computer part that controls all the buttons($400). They set an appointment for Thursday 8-5. No one showed up. They rescheduled for Monday 8-5. Again no one showed up. Next day Tues around 3:30 finally got it fixed. Talked to customer service they weren't much help at all. Never again Sears!!
The service was good. I however had to assist the technician in the removal and replacement of the wall oven. If I were a little old lady how would that work?
The technician was very good spirited about the repair and was very helpful.
The problem was the overpricing of the part. With in repair the part was @$350.00. On line to buy from Sears, the same part was $230. REALLY? do you have to rip off the customer that much?
The handle broke on our Bosch dishwasher. Fortunately, we had an extended warranty that covered parts and service. One person came and diagnosed the problem and ordered the new part. A second person returned after the part arrived and promptly fixed the machine. Both repairmen were professional and personable. We experienced great, timely service at no cost to us.
they came out had order parts took 3 week.put parts on still may same noise that it did. call in they had send out the same guy to check it out . he write on the sheet that he give to me and it said can't fix the noise call in and tell them you need a new one. call in and he tell his boss that he can't heard any thing. so now there sending him out for the three time for the same thing. if it cant be fix I what a new one. you spend $3200. on a lawn tractor have 17 hour of use and its sound like its coming apart.
the one at the store that they try to sell me sound just as bad. it was brought back because of the noise it made. not happy
After 7 visits, 5 months, and everything replaced twice for the ice maker, it's finally working. I can't understand why it takes this long to get an ice maker working. Had 5 different technicians come out but only 2 seemed to know what was going on. The other 3 just replaced parts. Won't buy a kenmore again. Should have bought a Bosch.
