Training at Yamane MMA began as a New Years resolution 2014. I was over weight, out of shape, and my daily choices were far less than desired. One year later I have lost 30 pounds, I'm in great physical condition, and my living and eating habits have improved dramatically. I know for certain that my health, attitude, and lifestyle is 100% better due to my training at Yamane MMA. When I began my membership I really didn't know what to expect. After a full year, my opinion is that I couldn't be more pleased. The training is challenging, enjoyable, I always look forward to it, and feel a great sense of accomplishment after every session. The staff at Yamane MMA is very knowledgeable, professional, and takes training to another level. As said, I could not be more pleased, and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to improve their health, get in shape, learn martial arts, and have fun doing it. It's a great program.
I train at Yamanes! It has muy tai, boxing, grappling, tai chi and more. It has wonderful class's for the young ones - and they love it. Special nights there is watching ring fighting with most of the people/friends in the school with everyone bring pot-luck to share. I trained boxing and Muy Tai for near 13 years and earned 3 amateur titles and one pro title and I am learning moves and styles I never learned. So, I am getting even better at the coming age of 54! That's correct. Way become a sluggishly fat and lazy person at the age of only 40; why not stay healthy and attractive every year that comes upon you? We in America eat the nastiest and most unhealthiest of crap we call food, and most of the crap we eat is killing us/our bodies. This place is a place to loose body-fat and gain sleek muscle. We don't want huge bulky muscle, that would make it difficult to do what we want to do and the bulk would slow us down! The prices in "Yamane" is very hard to beat, too! Yes, it is work, it hurts, you have to get out of your comfort zone and drive to get there, but, if you do the work, after 4 to 6 to 10 months, no matter what body-type and condition you have, you will no longer shy away from the pool or beach. Try it, and if you don't sweat and hurt, then you are not gaining on your goals! As for me? I am not giving it up! My so-called sixpac is coming back, and now, it is looking more like an eight-pac, and I love it-at the age of 54!
