Danville Post-Acute Rehab

This place was too sad, cold, lonely and depressing to even leave my father in for more than one night - and he's not sick, mentally ill or dying - just had a knee-replacement surgery for which he needed physical therapy. And yet he was too cold (and the extra blankets were old, thin and holey), it was too noisy (patients across the hall would fall asleep with their TVs blaring and nurses would ignore patients' bells for stretches at a time), the walls of his room were mostly white and bare, with nothing but harsh, cold florescent lights in the room, and he was forced to share a bathroom with up to 3 other total strangers. The facility, despite claiming being opened in 1989, I know for a fact to date back to the 1960s at least (my great-grandmother died there before I was born), and the building shows it. Yes, updates have been made, but it's not nearly enough. I seem to be the first human being to review this place online and I wish more people would tell me if they think I'm wrong.
