I had a tech clean and diagnose a problem with my gas log for$ 229.00. He called in the needed parts info into the store and told me I would get a call with a quote for parts and repair. Three weeks later and I haven't heard anything and when I call they say they'll get back to me ,but still no return call. I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service.
I buy parts online from them. They are the only source. Glad they do that. Shipped my Jotul parts quickly.
I am not the "Lisa C" that posted below (ironic), this is ANOTHER UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER:VERY DISAPPOINTED in Stove Kings service! Paid Dale with a credit card over the phone ($280) for parts a month ago, and still no parts-- and they wont return my calls or email regarding the status!! I contacted Jotul ( parent company of my Stove Mfr), and they recommended I contact the Better Business Bureau tomorrow, and take legal action. Furios!!!! Buyer beware!!!
Two days ago a close friend of mine went to Stove King in Danielson CT after calling looking for pellet fuel. She got there to find that they had pellets in stock but the owner/manager stated that they were not to be sold- they were being kept for employees and display as there is a shortage of the pellets right now. Congrats Stove King of Danielson. This info is going far and wide. You lost her business. You will not receive business from myself (looking to buy a new pellet stove) and I will make sure EVERYONE in the area knows of this stellar example of customer service, not only for this season but for any future ones while you are in business.
