My mother and I were online searching for my first car, being that I am so young we decided to look for a used car. We came across car city in Danbury and found a Gold/Tan 2005 Nissan Maxima. Everything was just perfect, well thats how they made it seem. We were excited that it was in such good shape a such a great price. However we live about an hour and a half away so this wasn’t a quick trip. We spoke to Charlie (the owner) twice on the phone and he ensured that the car was there and that I could look at it. We got there after a two hour drive and looked at the car and it was keyed up. On the hood of the car, the B word was written across it and the A word on the side with key scratches all over. Charlie never mentioned this because we would’ve never came that far for that. Charlie tried to sweet talk us into just getting a Honda civic but obviously that’s not what I wanted. How could you try to sell a car that is keyed up without telling the buyer as if I would like to drive around with profanity on my first car!!! I would not recommend this place, that was very sleezy of Charlie!

Omg! The selection was phenomenal. The owner allowed me to check out whatever I selected without being agitated or annoyed while being there, much patience. And prior to my selection any repairs that needed to be repaired or fixed he replace with no problem. I purchased (2) vehicle paid cash for one vehicle and financed the other and was very satisfied. I will return and have referred family and friends.
Buyer Beware. I bought a 2003 Dodge truck. Now, I'll take it on the chin as far as within a 1,000 miles of buying this vehicle the engine would not idle properly, despite 3 idler arms being replaced and 2 sensors. This happens with a used vehicle. The reason for my dissatisfaction stems from my paying $400 to have the exterior fender wells painted (by their vendor) due to rust and having those fender wells bubble within 3 months of the repair. After a month of many phone calls and emails I have received nothing but 'I'll get back to you." Well, I reckon ya can't beat a dead horse to death so I'm getting back to them. Stay away from this dealership. They buy junk at a low price and that is why their prices are low. They WILL NOT follow up on service, as in the case of my issue. Good luck and God Bless.Capt. My name is Christina, I just bought my first car here. I came all the way from New York (two hours away) because I saw DRT inc cars online and everything the owner, Allen, had looked in great shape. As soon as I saw the car I went there to see, the black 2000 Volkswagen, Cabrio, I noticed there were a few very minor things that needed to be done to it. Allen wrote a whole list of everything I said needed to be done and he put on two brand new tires as well. He was very fair to me. Also, with the 30 day warranty he automatically gives, it covers everything that needed to be done. I encountered a problem with my Cabro a few days after my warranty was up and Allen sent down money to let my mechanic fix it so i didnt have to drive up there. i HIGHLY reccommend going here, its worth the trip even if you live far. You won't be disappointed. I will never buy another used car unless its from DRT inc. thanks allen!
