Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center

Unfortunately I've had two surgerys at this facility and it disappoints me as to how the staff treats its patients. The first time there was a product representative in the operating room without my knowledge, which didn't settle well with me. I thought I had my bases covered by the second surgery by putting in writing that I didn't want any other staff in the operating room other than the mandatory staff... and this facility still thought it was ok to have a student anesthesiologist in on my case.( I wouldn't have known any of this if I didn't read my surgical report.) Right after surgery, the post operative nurse then told me I had to get out of bed now, as they needed the bed for another patient. They were extremely rough in dressing me, and I left the surgical center so upset. A few days after surgery, I called to speak to Diane, the administrator to voice my concerns, and I got such a defensive attitude it was so off-putting. This facility is nothing more than a surgical factory with no compassion or care. I deeply regret giving this place a first and second chance.
I don't normally post reviews, but nobody deserves to be treated in such a way; it's just not acceptable by many variables.

Extremely happy with my Rotator Cuff surgery by Dr. Ross Henshaw. Very please with the surgical center and staff. Would go there again without hesitation.
