Jiffy Lube

I am reposting a previous review. Today was the tipping point for me and I hope that at least one person doesn't have to go through the same pain.

I have been here many times because I live locally. If my employer didn't have a national account with Jiffy Lube, I would never go. Its the worst place to get an oil change. I have waited 2 hours because they didn't have an oil filter for the car in front of me. I have watched them try to sell me $20 air filters (8,000 miles on a new truck) when you can go to an auto parts store for $5. They market $10 off with a sign in the front and ignore it when it comes time to pay. They do not offer any local car washes and don't rotate pickup truck tires. I am writing this review because I went in at 8:40am this morning and was declined service because only 1 tech showed up for work today. They open at 8:00am! Will never go again.

I had my 19 year old son take my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder to this facility for an “oil change” just like I had done in 2009 and 2010. On this particular occasion the person at the store (Mr. Torres) assisted my son. While my son asked for an oil change, he was told that he needed a fluid exchange since the car was old. My son said “oh ok”, gave them my credit card and they proceeded with the work. They took so long that my son called home to tell his mom he would be late for dinner and wondered why it was taking so long. When finished, the workers handed my son a bill for $632.83.
