no respect for customers time

I bought a washer , dryer and dishwasher from Best Buy. Since the dishwasher was an open box and was missing the insulation, I was told that the insulation had been ordered and the installer would bring it with him when we scheduled the installation appointment. I took the agreed upon date off for the installation, even calling the installer- who was a local contractor and Best Buy just to make sure everything needed was in hand before taking a day off from work. I was assured by an employee at Best Buy that the installer had everything he needed and could only reach an answering machine with the contractor.

Lo and behold, the installer shows up and is quite surprised to find the dishwasher doesn't have insulation ...and neither does he! A subsequent call to Best Buy netted the responses. I don't know why he doesn't have it.....and I'm sorry the manager is really busy and can't talk to you right now. Great customer service and now I'll have to take another day off on the chance that someone will actually do what they're paid to do and followup. Maybe Lowe's across the parking lot can get my subsequent appliance purchases right.
