In the beginning, they were great. Over the last few weeks, I felt like they were getting tired of how energetic my son is. They told me they were going to hold him in the 1 yr old room if he did not improve. They referred me to the Babies Cant Wait organization for "behavior issues" which turned out to be untrue (no surprise). Monday, they wrote two incident reports for 1. Following another child around because they had a ball that he wanted and 2. Drew his arm back to throw a maraca (but didnt). On Tuesday, he was screened for "behavioral issues" which were found to be false. His issue was communication. Tuesday evening, I was visiting the resting place of my nephew when the toddler room supervisor approached me (while I was sitting at the grave and mourning) and deemed it appropriate to ask about my son's screening and to remind me of the copy of the paper work she was going to need even though she had already told me twice at the daycare. I called Wednesday and spoke with the program manager who didn't seem at all bothered by what the toddler room supervisor had done. I immediately disenrolled my son that day and had him at a new daycare yesterday where (surprise, surprise) they have yet to have any issues with him and have given him nothing but praise for being sweet, helpful, and charismatic.I'm extremely disappointed with this daycare. They seem to be fine with kids who can talk, but terrible with the ones who can't speak for themselves.
Quality care at a price that will not break the bank. The staff really cares about our entire family my son loves going to the daycare and playing with all his friends!
Friendship House is a center that has a loving and supportive staff. The whole family is supported while the child(ren) grow up in the center. It is highly recommended so get your applications in because there is a waiting list!
Best daycare!!! I wouldn't take my child anywhere else! The teachers are wonderful and they have cameras in every classroom that you can log onto from your computer or even your phone and be able to see your child's room or the playground. I watch my little girl all the time and I love it. Just this past week they had Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus come in with a real, live chameleon and a service dog to participate in an awareness program benefitting the Northwest Ga. Humane Society. My child loved it!!! During the summers, my older child attends their Summer Kids Camp - he loves it, too! They go on at least 3 field trips per week to places like the movies, goony golf, swimming, laser tag, bowling, skating, etc. You name it, they go and they keep those kids busy, busy, busy. It has been such a blessing for my family to have such a wonderful place to send our kids. The Director always says that you become family and it is true. I love them!
