I just finished a lunch time order of Sirg wings. I loved the wings! I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the wings and the meat content on each one. The wings were cooked just right. Not over/ under cooked and they were juuuuicy and tender. I have never been this satisfied before from…

Don't let the small space fool you. Tejano BBQ is THE BEST place for breakfast. They serve the best breakfast burrito that I have ever eaten. Generous amounts of bacon served hot and fresh. And the prices are lower than what you pay elsewhere.

I had seen this place but never had an interest in stopping in until I was checking out at the Tom Thumb just a few doors away. A young man named Crockett told me they have the best wings way better than Wingstop when I told him I was on my way to Wingstop to pick up an order. 3 days later for lunch I decided to visit after viewing their website the food looked so good, I was excited to try their food and I wasn't disappointed . I ordered the chicken philly cheesesteak combo that comes with wings , celery sticks, pink lemonade and ranch dressing. I ordered lemon pepper wings. Since they were out of menus I wrote their menu in a notebook I had in my purse. I ordered a side of french fries when I noticed on the menu they wouldn't be part of the combo I ordered. I was totally satisfied and amazed how good the chicken philly cheesesteak was it is to die for. I have a new hot spot not far from work or home that I can visit. I took a pic and posted it on facebook to let friends know of this little gem.
This place has great bar-b-que. They also have a family atmosphere, and it is usually pretty quiet in there. It's a place you can go inside to eat with your family and carry on a conversation and everyone can hear everyone else. The service is almost perfect (they have mixed up my to-go orders a couple of times, let things off, or made a burger with mustard instead of mayo, etc.) but they are very friendly and speedy. My food is always hot and tastes fresh. I have eaten everything here from the bar-b-qued meats, to burgers, to their chicken fried chicken and sides, and I have liked all of it every time. Their prices are pretty good too. Their burgers are very much like what you might grill up at home, great size, and plenty of toppings and good flavor. Yet, a burger basket with fries is less than $5. You can't beat that if you ask me. Not even Burger King or McDonald's can really compete with those prices anymore. So try it, if you're a fan of good food, I'm sure you'll like it!
We ate at Sonny Bryans in the West End while visiting the King Tut exhibit at the DMA, this location is a convenient quick train ride from the Museum. Located in quaint area of restaurants in Dallas, the West End, Sonny Bryans has the best pork ribs I ever had. Try the big rib man plate, around 12 ribs for 18USD, but way more than enough food for 2, so you can share. It comes with 2 hearty sides, a salad, fresh rolls, and a hearty portion of pickles, sliced onions jalapenos. Sit by the window, you get to look down at all the street traffic and passersby, also has outdoor seating but it was too windy that day. Excellent onion rings, a must have and try the turkey and brisket. The smoked sausage was mediocre. Service was excellent. The lavatory is located in the basement, accessible thru a lift. Sonny's has multiple locations, and when we asked around for the best bbq, Sonny's was recommended again and again.
A friend and I went to Hall's in downtown dallas on Commerce St (and Ervay) for the 2nd time yesterday, even after being disappointed with the chicken we recieved the first time. It was just alright. There was no seasoning on anything but the fries. So this time we thought we would try something different and we tried the hot chicken wings. First off when I order hot wings, I'm thinking drummettes, but instead we received chicken wing cut up and fried and we both only received 1 no less and we ordered 6. The other 5 pieces were dry white meat dipped in batter and fried. After frying, all they did was douse some hot sauce on it and said it was ready. They had hot sauce on the table, I could have done that myself. Well needless to say I was disappointed and don't think I will be returning until they learn how to really cook some chicken!!!
About the Lunch Buffet..... SO much better than your typical lunch buffet bar. I was super impressed by this place. I honestly feel that the salad bar is top notch and is a smaller version comparable to a Souper Salad. There was so much more variety than I expected since they packed a great deal of different food into the bar. If you're on a diet like me and your friends pick this place you're still in the clear! They seemed to have interesting combos on their pizza toppings too. They had the typical pepperoni and such, but a couple of different pizzas for those who like to sample other types of pizza. Awesome garlic herb and cheese twisted bread sticks! Pretty cool, I hope this place does well. In my opinion definitely worth checking out. I wish I had earlier because I live so close!
Delta Charlie’s I do not normally write reviews, but I had such a great experience at Delta Charlie’s Restaurant that I am letting others know about this gem. The experience started with a Groupon for the combined airplane ride and meal, always a great way to start!!!. I was a little concerned about the flight as my wife does not like to fly, but she was very comfortable with the plane and we both enjoyed the flight around Dallas. After the flight we settled down to a surprisingly good meal. The service was excellent and friendly. Although it was our first trip to Delta Charlie’s the young lady who served us made us feel like we were part of the family. Overall, an experience I would highly recommend to others Don S
Dee Lincoln mentioned her cajun background, which may explain why the Crispy Oysters were the star of my dining experience along with the Bananas Foster Crumble. I’m impressed with the breading and comfort feeling after taking a bite of the oysters, and the sweetness of the bananas foster transported me to a New Orleans cafe. These items left me wanting more. I think the real lesson here is that if you eat here, the Cajun items are the way to go. Also, the Sushi Pizza intrigued me. The creamy sauce spiked with Sriracha and lots and lots of wasabi tobiko (flying fish roe flavored with Japanese horseradish) onto ahi tuna and tempura rice crust to pull it together. It’s a great starter or snack to enjoy while you dine here.
Excellent fried chicken which is far superior to the big-name places. They also have tons of things which aren't on the online menu like sandwiches, catfish, fried livers & *corn fritters* which are 2die4 good! BIG portions of side orders like spicy rice (yummy!), fries & mashed potatoes. The only downside is they're often busy and it's not uncommon to wait, but their food is well worth any minimal delay. Actually, I was stunned to see they'd received two such low ratings here, so 4 stars from me is probably more realistic. Still, we've eaten at Williams 10-15 times and barring the occasional wait, I cannot recall EVER being disappointed with the food.
I when to soulmans yesterday and brought two sandwiches round beef slice and sauage. got the sandwiches to go, on our way back home I open up and my beef sandwiches was full of fat, yes fat, I waste my time and money for that sandwiches never again will I eat at this soulmans I don't like giving money away, I want good food and not fat. if that is what you serve then I I want be back and nor will anyone I tell how sorry the food was. what a waste, customers are your business if you don't car about them you will not be in business much longer, maybe that is why there was no one there buying the food they too have received the say.
First of all Liu's is a Chinese Restaurant, they do not specialize in 'BBQ ribs and Chicken where chicken 'grizzle' would be present. My significant other and I decided to try them today and WHAT A Treat! We liked the food so much we decided to find a "Review Website" and rate them. Maybe just be mindful that english is not their first language. The lady was friendly and diligent so she made it easy to order. The food was well made, Very tasty and better than some of the more expensive Chinese Restaurants we frequent. And, for us, it was take out. It was our first and NOT our last time ordering with Liu's Restaurant!
