My experience with Utay Jewelry has been nothing short of a nightmare. When my fiancé proposed, I noticed the prongs on my ring were all a bit rough, but I was ecstatic to be engaged and figured they could just be buffed smooth. We now live in Chicago, so I went to a local jeweler here to get it resized a week after getting it and asked if they could buff the rough edges. They told me the prongs were worn down and needed to be replaced. I had only had my ring for a week, so I assumed they were trying to rip me off and I walked out of there. A few months later, I was visiting my parents in Michigan and went to my family's trusted jeweler and she also told me the prongs needed to be replaced and that it looked like the diamond was forced into an old mount. This time, I was able to use her magnifying glass to get a good look at the prongs and couldn't believe my eyes. All four of them were cracked and barely hanging on. Rather than having her fix it, I thought for sure it must be defective and Utay Jewelry would be happy to fix their mistake. After getting in touch with Eddie and sending photos, he told me it was normal wear and tear. I explained there was no way this is normal. I don't wear it in the shower, to bed, or to the gym and I have a desk job. If this is normal wear and tear, every woman would be replacing her engagement ring every six months. Not to mention, I noticed the prongs were defective the day I got it. After a lot of back and forth and, Eddie was very defensive and continued to blame "normal wear and tear." The new jeweler I took my ring to in Dallas said too much gold was taken out of the mount to fit the diamond, so it was really weak.
No matter what State we are living in, we always call Neil in Dallas when we need jewelry or watches. He always goes above and beyond! Very trustworthy as well. Always a beautiful selection and fair prices. A great experience every time.
My experience here was absolutely great! The sales lady was very helpful and patient, and she took a lot of time and care to make sure that I was satisfied with the product that I bought. I would recommend this shop to people.

I was ready to purchase a PAM 392 this afternoon. But the sale guy was very rude that left me with a very bad impression with the brand. He did not greet me or say anything when I walked in, he did not provide any assistance at all. When I finally asked him specific for the model that I wanted, he simply said we dont have it, without offering other alternative or offer to order one gor me. Worst of all, the whole time I was in the store, he was busy looking at his iphone. No eye contact with me whatsoever. Finally, I said to him that obviously you are too busy to server your customer, he that looked at me and tried to say something. But I was on my way out the store. BTW, I was the only customer at the store when that happed. Panerai, great watch, but really questionable service even for a potential buyer . I cannot imagine when kind of after sale service one will get after
