I saw a number of negative reviews after booking a room, scared me a bit. There were also positive reviews that appeared to be in direct conflict.Close to freeway, a light sleeper *might* be able to hear road or even rail noises – I did not. Parking area is well lighted, security on duty at night. Staff was polite & courteous. Not all rooms have fridges. Towels are thin. Soap, but no shampoo or other freebies. Bed was comfortable, wood/linoleum floors give clean impression. I found nothing seriously wrong… THIS IS A BUDGET HOTEL, price was right & I can pack my own toiletries! Stayed 3 nights & YES, I would stay here again.

I really like the location and cleanliness of this hotel but they are kind of pricey which I guess can be expected these days. It's just that I stay in hotels a lot and this one was even pricey for that.
I would give this place negative stars if I could. Customer service is awful. No security at the outside doors. People are up & down the halls raising hell. I'm a woman traveling alone for business and security is important. I would leave here if I could (everything sold out due to the TX fa…

I made a reservation online for my visiting parents because the location was close to our home and the price was right for a Sat. night, $74.00 and check-in was easy for them. The room was nice and fit the purpose and they said the free breakfast was good even though I was told later by a member…

My room was infested with bed bugs! I had bed bug bites all over my body, there were bugs in the bed, carpet, everywhere. I was forced to dispose of all of my belongings due to this infestation. The hotel did NOT reimburse me for my stay, nor did they offer to compensate me for my loss. In fact, they claim they can't confirm this incident, even though the owner came to inspect my room, and I have photos/videos to prove it. Do yourself a favor and save your money and sanity.
The check in was good. They are redoing this motel. 1st room had drop clothes on everything. 2nd room had a big whole in wall. 3rd was good.
I stayed in this place for one night and the manager was really rude when I checked out. I was waiting for a friend to pick me up, but his phone was off. So I sat down in the seat in front of the reception. The manager, a man whose name I don’t know, kept complaining every 5 minutes why I was still there. It’s almost summer, the sun was quite strong, I have very light skin which gets easily burned, I had luggage with me(which he said he could not keep for a few hours so I would be able to go out until I was able to talk to my friend) and he even threatened to call the police in case I didn’t leave the premisses. I’ve travelled to over 20 countries, stayed in several hotels, motels, hostels, you name it and I never experienced this kind of treatment on checkout. It felt like “now that I have your money, get the hell out of here”. Don't stay in this kind of place. They do not value their guests.
I made my reservation ahead of time through Motel 6, but when I showed up he said he wasn't part of Motel 6 and he wouldn't honor that price. I even showed him the paperwork. I told him he needed to call Motel 6 to straighten this out so this wouldn't happen to others. He said, "Why would I do that?".
Great room for the money .
It's a good place to stay, it's not very fancy, if you plan to be out all day and only sleep there is fine.
Conveniently located off interstate. Was exceptional quiet for the location. Had refrig & microwave for your convenience. Very clean and a great nights sleep for the money.
I was surprised to find that it was on the East side of Dallas. Since I was looking for best photos and amenities and price considerations, I did not think to question the location. The hotel was clean, service was wonderful. It was a specific distance from an event we had reserved, but we were surprised that it was on the opposite side of the city.
First the bad, though it is not the hotel's fault. Hotels.com said the place was close to the cotton bowl, which is the precise football game we traveled to attend. Not quite. It was still about 10 miles, not 3. That being said, the hotel was an amazing value. The room was clean, the shower was good, and the front desk was generally helpful about whatever we needed. There are two gas stations right there as well, and a Jack in the Box. But it isn't in a busy area which is nice, meaning the rooms are QUIET. Seriously. And the breakfast isn't huge, as in not a 5 star hotel breakfast, but generally speaking its one of the best free breakfasts I've had. Highly reccomended.
