I travel for business and have accumulated points which I have never redeemed. On this occasion (1/5-1/6), I was traveling for personal reasons and wanted to redeem my points. As it was the first time I had done this, I failed to follow your process exactly as written - my mistake. However, I was completely surprised when no one at the Love field facility or on a subsequent call with your corporate office would adjust my bill to utilize the points. I found the inflexibility (especially for a first time user) very disappointing. I understand that you have policies and your employees are well trained to follow them. It just left me with a very bad impression and will definitely effect my choice of rental car vendors going forward. As a matter of fact, I had already booked another rental for business purposes for 1/9-1/10 with Enterprise. Had I not already booked it, I would have chosen another vendor.
