Last month I neatly wrapped and mailed a box from Texas to Wisconsin, to my sister. I got a tracking number and found nothing on this package, after it left the local PO and went to the sorting center. in Dallas NDC, I assume. Because a week later, I got an envelope containing, the CUT OFF top, with the address on it, of MY package!!! And a letter stating that this piece was "found" and "believed to have been separated from my parcel during handling"!!!!! You can clearly SEE the top of the box was CUT OFF!! And the contents??? Taken, stolen, sold, trashed...who knows! What the HELL kind, of supposedly screened govt. employees, do you have working there?? Don't you people have security cameras and personnel or is that all BS, too??WHERE do these "found" contents end up? Do you have a huge room where some things are stored? IF they've not been walked out with? UNBELIEVABLE! I really feel violated. Yes, this is personal. USPS is supposed to be a trusted, reliable institution. For me....not anymore. Facebook reaches millions. I'm going to share this. I tell everyone about this now and will continue to do so. I am NO LONGER using USPS for mailing anything.

I could not get any information on a packaged I shipped there. It never reached it's destination and I'm wondering if it was ever sent because there is no tracking information on it.
I have just now spoken by phone with TOMMY at the Medrano Station (8624 Ferguson Rd., Dallas, TX 75228-9998) regarding a redelivery. He was most helpful and went the extra mile in taking care of the problem. Put a feather in TOMMY'S cap. He's a credit to the USPS.
This place should be shut down. They don't do their job. It makes since why the postal service doesn't do well. A lot of my neighbors work from home and have complained about the same thing. I was supposed to receive a package. Very small one which woud fit inside my mail box but I received a notice from them saying the location of my house was not secure to leave it also it says that their was a notice left. I have security cameras all around. There was never any postal vehicles anywhere around. Plus I've lived here for over 50 years and FedEx and ups never have a problem finding my house. We think that the person who delivers the mail doesn't like their job so when they don't deliver the mail or letters. We as neighbors have to file a complaint 8 to 10 times a year. I'm sure most file more. It says to us that they are just to tired and don't want to work anymore. All this took place on a Wednesday at 4 pm. I see also thst a lot of postal centers only have a 3 or less on the star rating. I won't use the postal service unless I absolutely have to.
I had a problem with a delivery and sierra pryor and her wonderful staff tracked it down and Ms Pryor brought it herself to my home .. Im handicapped and this means the world thankyou all so very very much !! i bleive Bridgett was another lady and titus the mail carrier as well . ty so so much God bless
They said they left a note saying they attempted to deliver my package at 5pm But I didn't see a note anywhere and my house was full of people from 9am-8pm that day. So they clearly lied about it.
Found a note in our business mailbox just outside the facility stating they'd attempted to deliver a package. Not true as we've had people in the building all day. Had an absolutely horrid experience talking with this facility over the phone as they put me on hold for a half hour and then hung up during a "transfer". Same inconsiderate attitude of employees during my visit to the place. If I ran my business the way they do, I wouldn't have a business.
Don't bother calling this place. Better to call the main offices directly at the 1-800 number. I've had too many issues and they took none of them seriously.
This office is getting 2 stars ONLY because our usual mail carrier usually does his job. However, there have been numerous times that I have had a delivery that needs a signature, and without attempting to knock on the door or ring the doorbell they just leave one of the dreaded orange cards. This is when our usually guy isn't working. It should be easy enough to call and request a re-delivery, but if you call the direct number, it rings and rings until it disconnects you, no one will pick up, ever. I could understand this if it was after business hours, but when you call at 3 and they don't close until 5 or 6, it's ridiculous. This time I re-scheduled the delivery for tomorrow on the USPS online site, hopefully it will be delivered as promised. However, in the past when I've tried to get things delivered, I've always ended up with a final notice, and having to go all the way up there to get my package. Just the worst.
These guys cause you real damage for which you have no recourse. They cost me more than $150 this year alone in lost items carelessly tossed on the front porch of my apartment and immediately stolen.
Although this number is thus far useless as to speaking to anyone; the correct one is: (214) 760 4526 Unfortunately I was given the brushoff by a very condescending USPS Consumer Affairs rep and am forced to do my own research to locate a lost certified letter. Still searching... I'll update if I find a better contact.
