Delivery driver never brought my order. Called the store 40 minutes after he was on his way and they said to give him 15 more minutes. Guess what? That was almost two hours ago. Now the store is closed and I’m out money for food that never arrived. Awesome business... Update. He did show up at 1:00 a.m. Left extra marinara and soda pop as good measure for taking so long. Pizza box is crushed on one corner but survived.
The pizza is delicious, the food overall is good. The place could use some repairs. The workers are quite great.
They pass the Margherita Pizza test (it’s what I order at a new pizza place I’ve never been to before): your can taste the tomato (not paste) is the sauce and the crust was nicely done with just the right amount of burnt edge too.
First class service all the way. My compliments and gratitude to the front desk and other hotel staff. We had many requests, which they handled quickly and courteously. This is an elegant hotel. Although it's an old hotel, the rooms are spacious and modern, with plenty of outlets and USB charging ports. Bottled water is included, which can be acquired at the front desk or fitness center. Location is great, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, and not too far away from Dallas Love Field (DAL) airport.
Safe to say I'll never be coming back to this restaurant. There's multiple issues that need to be addressed. First and foremost, the amount of time it takes to get our orders taken and served. It took nearly an entire hour to get seated, drinks ordered and orders taken. It took another 30-45 minutes to have our food brought to us which is average for the amount of people we brought. The menus aren't very descriptive and in my opinion, the food is overpriced for the quality. I've spent about the same amount of money for a plate of food at Texas Roadhouse and the serving size and quality of food is so much better. Secondly, the staff. Mostly everyone was welcoming and friendly but there were times where we had one of the staff members hang around for a little too long and created an extremely awkward environment and it's a very bad feeling. The girl mentioned she's new to the restaurant so I didn't want to be rude and dismiss her abruptly. Also the fact that she even grabbed a napkin that I had placed on the table after I finished cleaning my mouth and threw it at my head, she said," Hey I have to clean that." That there crossed the line and it is unacceptable. I've never felt so disrespected in my life. She finally disappeared when I told her I wasn't doing fine and stated she wasn't going to come back and said she wasn't doing her job correctly which left my table both confused and even more uncomfortable. I could go on and complain more but I think this is good enough and I hope everyone who reads this will think twice before visiting this restaurant with their family. Please take my warning and don't come here. Save yourself a trip and find another place to eat.
I love the great, fast and clean work that Timberline Lawn and Landscape company provides excellent service.....excellent work!
Fine home grown pizza from local owners who’ve been here for a very long time. Not the best pizza on the planet and nowhere near a bad pizza for sure.Ordered the margarita pizza: thin crust, crispy on the bottom, tasty on the top, nice big slices of tomatoes. If you’re a prima-Donna diner, these folks will help pull your head out from your... well, you get it. Real food served by real people, so act real.
made my 1st visit today around 6:00 pm I saw the commercial on the t v (5 toppings $11.00) and thought I' d stop by. As soon as I opened the door there was an employee sitting next to the door, toothpick in mouth, on his phone. Behind the counter were 3 males ,play boxing and another male employee on his phone. The guy next to the door said is this a pick-up or what? He was still sitting in his chair. Finally another guy walked to the register and said what do you need today??? I asked for the special 5 toppings for $11. He then said that is up to 5 toppings and its for a medium. I then asked him so the commercial is for online only? he said HUHHHHH??? then 1 of the guys behind got bored play boxing and said,"heah man she wants the 5 toppings for 15.00 probably. I looked @ him and said "you know what I'll go to pizza hut thanks". and left. Such poor customer service, poor quality period. I could have been someone visiting from Corporate, etc. THIS IS HOW PEOPLE LOOSE JOBS!!!!I will NOT be coming back. This is across the street from the V A hospital so I guess when you are a Dr/Nurse and in a hurry anything hot" would taste good.
The Crappiest Hour has food that is merely okay...not horrible, but not good. The problem tonight was servers who are not focused on the guest. Steffan is slow. Slow in service and slow in attentiveness. Took a good 20 minutes for him to get around to taking our food order. And it wasn't that busy. After the food runner brought our entrees, we desperately needed refills. No Steffan, no manager on the floor. A waitress nearby was rearranging napkins on a table. When I got her attention and asked if she could please find Steffan, she acted inconvenienced and went back to rearranging napkins. Ten minutes later, Steffan shows up asking what he can do...oblivious to the empty glasses on the table. At this point, I asked him to guess what the problem was. It took him two tries. When I asked him to bring the check, he proceeded to take a food order from a huge table. It took another 10 minutes to get the check. We asked for a to-go container, another ten minutes. He never apologized for his slow service or lack of attention. A lot of the employees at this restaurant seemed more focused on socializing with each other, hugging, and giving shoulder rubs. The guests are merely an afterthought. Having managed restaurants myself, I recognize this as the result of poor hiring standards and management that is disengaged. I don't recommend the Crappiest Hour and I will not return.
