For a place that is of this quality, was disappointed when the condiments for the baked potato was in plastic containers. Steak wasn't bad, service was as expected. Waitress was nice, but reserved.
I have ate in many restaurants from coast to coast and this place has to have some of the best steaks. the taste was perfect,(of course no sauce needed) and the sides were wonderful. The atmosphere was very upper class feel and the bar scene was very casual/business feel. the mix drinks we ha…

Oh I do love me some Capital Grille. The service here is impeccable. This is one of the only restaurants where the servers are in the practice of handing out business cards that I actually end up KEEPING them. Service really is that good. But of course, good service isn't enough. Gladly, I can r…
I have lived in Dallas for 40 years and have seen some great restaurants come and go, and Hibashi is one of the best restaurants to come to Dallas in years! Does anyone remember Royal Tokyo on Greenville Avenue? Hibashi is reminiscent of them in the quality of their food and the taste. Their …
8. Nick & Sam's
I had a chance to take my date to a wonderful steakhouse. I have lived in Dallas for nine years and always gone to Bob's and most recently Ocean Prime. Another guest at Ocean Prime told me about Nick and Sams. Boy, was I blown away from the moment I walked in. From the door to the check ever…
What a great place for lunch. Met a friend Downtown today and ended up here for lunch. The weather out is amazing so we sat outside!!! PERFECT Patio! Food was great as well!!!!
Great service, great bar selection and awesome food. Nice intimate atmosphere. Bubbies potato pancakes are to die for. Although I wish they would bring back the New Orleans style shrimp dish.
I absolutely just love this place! I have been there several times and will go back. Just love it! I've had almost everything on the menu there. It's so good. Check this place out for sure.
12. Sushi Zushi
I consider myself a pretty huge sushi fan. I always venture out and try new places and new flavors but something always brings me back to Sushi Zushi. The service is always great here, although it can get pretty packed on the weekends and there's not a very big bar area to hang out in while wai…
We celebrated my wife's, Phyllis,70th birthday there tonight with oldest Son Jon & Daughter in law Tina, Daughter Deanna, son in law Kraig and 5 month old London, Deanna & Kraig's newest baby. Place was great but really pricy for the amount of food you get.Don't misunderstand the food was great…
18. Central 214
Very creative drink menu that are actually good. Food is great - crab cake is awesome. If you want a fried food fix, the fried portabella mushrooms are really good. Cheese plate is excellent. A little pricy, but not unexpected for the atmosphere and style of location.
A good mix of food, and what they do, they do it right. If you eat out alot in Dallas, and want to try somewhere new that is great for a night out on the town which involves getting all gussied up, look no further-
20. Texas de Brazil
There are several things I'd like to point out about this place. The food, the service, the drinks and the atmosphere will always have me coming back. I definitely thought that the wait staff was very thorough in making sure myself and my friends were well taken care of. The food was simply divi…
Made to order, any way you want it, these 6oz patties are cooked to perfection.I ordered the double burger, no cheese, with a side of chili. The chili was all meat, and not just ground beef: mine had brisket in it.The burger was juicy: 4-napkins my friends. Don't wear a white shirt here.

We celebrated my wife's, Phyllis,70th birthday there tonight with oldest Son Jon & Daughter in law Tina, Daughter Deanna, son in law Kraig and 5 month old London, Deanna & Kraig's newest baby. Place was great but really pricy for the amount of food you get.Don't misunderstand the food was great just not enough if you are hungry. Great food, filets, sea food, chicken wings, burrito wrap with avocado, Brick Chicken, pasta chicken something I think ? Fantastic table bread & butter. Great wine (2 bottles). The brought cake with candle and we all sang happy birthday to the 70 year young wife of mine. She got high on 3 glasses of fine wine and was very funny to boot. Great evening I'd say !The Host, Mike, was great and made sure everyone were taken care of and on time plus he was humorous and friendly and fun.I ordered a refill for my Coke Zero and waited 20 minutes & it didn't show so Mike took care of it. Then ironically as we were getting up from the table to leave they brought me another one which I didn't have the time to drink plus I was full by then.Over all it was a really great experience with a couple of very minor faux pas.We will be back again for sure.
Three of us eat there last night Dec 7th 2015 . We all got diarrhea and fever while we were there and thru out last night. We ate file mignon, rybeyes, mushroom, mashed potatoes, and spinach.Called the store this morning but did not get a call back from the manager yet. Still waiting....
Have good food , for the family. Keep up good work.
the price is good for what you get
It has been years since we grace the front doors of Lawry since it move from downtown Dallas to its current location in North Dallas off the tollway.I can definitely say without a doubt things have change. Unfortunately not for the better...Some good friend of from the Parks Cities reminded me that you guys still existed so I book a dinner for a returned visit.I was shocked at the out date décor. The seating needing new support since it definitely seen its better days. So we moved to a booth instead of a table and cannot say that was much better. We had to find a spot in the bench that had not been worn out. The waiter was interesting and not what I recall from my past visits as a seasoned waiter. Nice guy but not the caliber that one would expect in fine dining. It was obvious this was his first serving in fine dining. About the only item that I can note that was any value were the cocktails we started with and the check to remove ourselves from the restaurant.I was asked 6 times if we were visiting for a special event. I can't say that any restaurant I visit over the years ask this question. So I can only assume the only people that might come to your restaurant now are first time visitors and not the loyal clientele Lawrys once had in the past. The food had no flavor what so ever. I normally don't take the time to write such a review, I just don't return. But I thought that management should be aware of it major decline in the Dallas restaurant scene.(Note before writing this review I gave the wrote the corp office and the GM at this location time enough to respond. (through their website.) After 4 weeks I yet to hear from them.Don't waste your money or time on this place.)
Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Service is good. Food is excellent.
I intended to have steak: ended up ordering the Veal Meatloaf. Served over a bed of delicious mashed potatoes and drizzled with an amazing mushroom sauce, this is one amazing dish. The Pimento Cheese Fritters appetizer was good too: For dessert I sampled the Coconut Cream Pie, recommended by the server: it was average.
Awesome!!!!! i go at least ounce a week. Flawless everytime!
