I did not even want to give them 1 star but this site would not let me proceed without at least choosing one star...ZERO should be an option!
On May 23rd my husband and I purchased a washer and dryer. These items were supposed to be delivered on 6/5. At 3:35 (15 minutes before the end of the delivery window) we got a call telling us we would not get the items that day and that we would not get them until 6/25. I told the rep this was not acceptable and she told me to "go back to the store and cancel my order then." My husband and I went back to the store, cancelled our order and were told the delivery department would handle our refund within 7 - 10 business days. With today being the 10th business day I called to verify the status of my refund and ran into more rude employees and still no answer on my refund which by the way is just about $2000!
I am disgusted with the lack of customer service I have received. Besides the first Sears employee, Jesse, I have dealt with 7 other employees, all of whom are rude and show very little concern about getting my money returned to me. The delivery reps are beyond appalling, the store reps are a joke! I was raised knowing nothing but Sears; I have been raising my children on Sears, Sears, and Sears. They have lost a customer that has shopped with them for over 20+ years. The policy the employees referred to when dealing with my husband and I is ludicrous. The fact that we have had to deal with this issue is ludicrous as well. It is sad that I was able to go to a competitor make a purchase and get my items delivered before Sears could even resolve the issue of getting my refund! Truly a shameful way to do business!!!
