I love Roma's for the great patio and the surprisingly excellent food. The thin crust pizza is always wonderful but what is amazing is the pasta sauces. Chicken Marsala and Carciofi are worthy of some of the finer Italian restaurants I have eaten in around the world.
AND PERRONI ON TAP!
I have only eaten inside once and while the food is still good, it is lacking something in ambiance...outside is the ticket.
We take friends and family there often and granddaughter enjoys feeding the birds and squirrels that are common patio visitors.

We live and work within 15 minutes of Roma's and have been there a zillion times, so we know them inside out. We - not just the hubby and I, but a lot of our friends as well - absolutely love this place, for lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
Lunch is quickly ordered and served, but without you being made to feel rushed. Dinner is as good, and yes - if you eat on the WONDERFUL shady patio, you will eventually (after dark) get visited by harmless, friendly raccoons. Toss 'em a garlic roll, and they'll waddle away happily.
We love the pizza - just good, tasty NY thin crust pizza (it's our go-to place when ordering in). Always complimentary garlic rolls, served with marinara dipping sauce, are delicious. The chicken marsala is maybe the best I've had; chicken Roma's is almost as good. My husband has had the calzone and stromboli and deeply loves both. Chicken parmesan is not outstanding, but better-than-average (esp for Dallas), and one of my favorite dishes on Earth is their meatball parmesan...YUM! Wonderful comfort (or hangover) food.
Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are more than reasonable.

Roma's Dallas (Greenville Ave) is a quaint and homey establishment, with a great patio. If you dine at the right time, in the evening, you will be visited by furry, hungry and sometimes intimidating raccoons. No worries all they want is a small slice of pizza and a cannolli. I have to admit they have really delicious thin-style Neopolitian pizza, and it's even better if you eat at the restaurant. As soon as the pizza gets out of the oven and onto your table, the crust maintains its crispiness. When you have that same pizza at home it looses that quality. Also their Lasagna is pretty damn good, and their prices are pretty hard to beat. A few things that really bother me about the restaurant are the shortcuts that are taken. As a Texan I know Ranch dressing like the back of my hand, and the difference between bottled Ranch dressing and homemade is night and day. That is one short cut that should be avoided like the plague!!! Another really bad call are the olives they use for their ""Greek Salad"". A Greek Salad should never, ever have any other olive but a Kalamata, and when it does the Greek Gods shake there huge Greek heads in disappointment. Last but definitely not least is there choice for Italian sausage, it seems be frozen soy product rolled in perfect little vermon drops (sorry for the visual) yuk!! Considering some of the other pizza joints choices this one ain't that bad, as long as you heed my warnings. Bon Appetit!!
