Overall
A good Lakewood sports bar

The Pour House is as basic as a sports bar can get. There are several big screens (mainly front projectors, so most are better viewed at night), and the place has ample seating for its normal crowds. Everything here is no-frills. Most TVs are not HD-quality, but you're usually able to get the staff to tune into about any game that you'd like to see. (That's more difficult to do at larger sports bars with tie-ins to local university alumni clubs.) The food is average to better than average for sports bar food and includes all of the items that one would expect. Drinks tend to be cheaper than other area bars/sports bars. On college football Saturdays, the Pour House has a happy hour that prices its beers at least $1 less per bottle than other area bars.

This is the true definition of a neighborhood bar. Most of the patrons seem to know eachother, and the staff are the type that like to chat with you if you're willing. In general, the folks that go to the Pour House seem to be average, hard-working people. There is no pretentiousness whatsoever in this place, so put it on your list of places to go if you're looking for a very casual night out or are wanting to see a big game but are afraid that most other places might be too crowded.

Note: Don't get this confused with reviews for The Pour House in Ft. Worth. The two places are not affiliated. I've never been to the Ft. Worth establishment, but it sounds to be a bit different from this place.
