The Lamplighter School is an independent co-educational day school for students three-years of age through fourth grade. BRAND Often thought of as "private" or "non-public" schools, independent schools share six characteristics: self-governance, self-support, self-defined curriculum, self-selected students, self-selected faculty, and small size. As an independent school, Lamplighter has been a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) since 1979 and the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) since 1972. The school is accredited by ISAS.
