We have bought from them on 2 occasions, and were satisfied both times. Our salesman was nice and we felt like we got a good deal.

Just tried to grill the steaks we purchased and they smell rotten. I'm sure the others are the same, likely driven around all day in a warm freezer. Fortunately I only bought two boxes, so a $50 lesson learned. I should know better.

I am a long time customer of Grillmasters, I have a hard time believing all of negative comments on here, I get the best deals on meat and chicken for my family, over the years we have all seen.a price hike at the grocery stores, our salesman will occasionally up his prices as well, but it is still so good and convenient, I received a gift card to Omaha steaks and their product tasted worse than any other meat I have ever had and their prices were ridiculous. My salesman asked me today if I was satisfied to please write a good review online because think about you always see the bad reviews but hardly anyone posts about their good experience. Well we are true.customers and telling you the taste of our chicken and steaks are delious.

Send them on their way and close the door. We tried the first batch of steaks this evening and the taste was awful, I still have a fishy smelling odor on my fingers from handling the steaks even after washing the dishes. There is a date on the boxes (1 week ago) , but no indication of what the date means "use-by, expiration, etc", the salesperson said it was the date the meat was packaged, its probably the use-by date :-(

I still have a nauseous feeling in my tummy 2 hours after eating the crappy meat.

The company wont refund you for the meat, they'll only agree to replace, but we don't like the taste and quality.

We'll be cooking the remaining GrillMasters meat for our pet when we grill our preferred beef from the store

Stick with meat from your local grocery store.

Unfortunately you can't give a zero rating, so we'll give a single star.

Three 5 star reviews placed on the same day by people with user names "first.last.###" ... That's not suspicious at all! If you're going to post fake reviews at least cover your tracks a little better. Grillmasters! Yeesh!

I have tried all their products and and very satisfied. I have been to several cookouts..benefits and functions where Grillmasters has played a major role...amazing product and people.

I recently purchased some steaks from a nice salesman. He wasn't to pushy and was very professional. I grilled them up this past weekend and was blown Away at how tender and juicy they were. I got a great deal and have recommended to a few friends to try. I look foward to trying other products of grillmasters

Grill master meat co.

Had some of there meat at a barbecue and it was really good would recommend them to my friends.

I purchased steaks from the salesman hoping the meat to be of decent quality, but expecting the worse. They do a great job with their packaging, and their salesman gives you a lot of empty guarantees. They talk about how great the quality is, but the reality is that it is very poor quality and shrinks down dramatically when cooked.

Now that I've said all of that, I will admit that I took the chance more because I felt bad for the salesman walking around on a beautiful Saturday. What a horrible job! So I got some low-quality meat...not the end of the world. I will say that all I bought were 6 ribeyes for $40, so it's not like I paid $150+ for the case. I really feel bad for all of those folks who have spent big money and been deceived.

You just got scammed.

I'm going to keep this short. If you're coming here after you've made the purchase, you have just been scammed.

If you're coming here because you were suspicious, good for you! I wish I had been.

For those who made the purchase, throw the meat out and learn from this mistake!

My husband is a meat lover, and this personable salesman showed up at my door a couple of days ago. I am not much of a "red meat" person, but I thought my husband would be so proud of me for buying all of that meat for $160.00. What a joke. It took 2 "filets" to make 4 bites once it was cooked. My husband was very unhappy with me, and I will never hear the end of it. He said to stick to Kroger or HEB; these people take advantage of naive people like me. I wish I would've listened to my "inner voice" and said no. I could've went to Kroger and purchased much better quality meat at 1/2 the price. Lesson learned.

I've read lots of horrible reviews of this company, so it's made me a little nervous. My bosses have purchased meat from a salesman in the H-E-B area for several years. Last year, they bought a case of steaks for me as a Christmas gift. Every piece of meat in that box was good quality and tasted great! So when the salesman came by today, I purchased a case of steaks and a case of chicken. But for some reason, I felt uneasy, so I decided to check reviews of the company and found such bad comments. Well, I guess we'll wait and see when I try to cook some tonight... I asked my boss about it and he said his opinion is that only people who have a problem will post reviews and that you rarely see good reviews online. Maybe?

Crooked Company, Bad Meat, Close the door!

We purchased a steak package by this company when a salesman came to our door bragging of how wonderful this meat was. How it was restaurant quality, grass fed beef. He told us they ""Guarantee their product"". I specifically asked him, so if we don't like it...""We'll come get it"" he finished my sentence. So we purchased a package worth $136. After about 2 weeks we had tried each one of the different steaks and thought they were all poorly cut, tasteless, tough steaks. My husband called the next day and asked to talk to the salesman that had come to our door. It took my husband 3 weeks and about 10 phone calls to finally talk to someone to get some information. Every time he called he was told ""customer service would call him back"" or ""the person you need to talk to is not here""...etc. When he finally talked to ""customer service"" they told him someone would be out the following week to exchange our meat because unlike what the salesman told me, they do not do refunds. Why I would want more/different crappy meat, I don't know. It has been nearly 2 weeks and we still have not seen anyone and the phone call battle has started over. We are fed up, though after researching them online (something I should have done before we bought) we are not even close to being alone with this problem.

Salesman Verbally Assaulted My Wife and I and Threatened to Fight Me

A man and his son approached me while I was outside my house. They got out of their truck and began giving me their schpiel about why their meat was so good. He would give us this great deal for only $140. Then my wife came outside and he began giving the same schpiel. My wife then asked if he could give us some time to think it over...maybe he could come back after his next delivery. He asked, "what is there to think about?" My wife walked off since he clearly wasn't going to let us go easy. In response to her walking off, he called her ignorant and stupid.

That was it for me. I told the guy not to call my wife ignorant. He continued to call her a b*tch and other such words. He continued to yell expletives at us. I began walking in the house until he called us "f***ers" or "f***ing idiots" (excuse the French, but know that I am quoting the salesman here). I began walking back to him in his truck while he flipped me off (in front of his son, don't forget) with my hands up like "what the heck are you doing?" and I said, "don't call me a f***er."

He then got out of his truck began jumping up and down saying, "What f***er, you want to fight?" (seriously he said that), as he began walking around the truck. I said, "Dude, I'm not going to fight you."

He then rambled off some more expletives as he got back in the truck. He drove off flipping me off.

Moral of the story: Don't buy anything from Grillmaster's Meat. If they approach you to sell it, get the driver's license, name, number, license plate, etc. before you start talking to him, especially if he is driving a black Dodge Ram.

Again, I apologize for the language, but I believe it's a fair description of what occured.

Horrible Quality

Bought Rib Eye and Stuffed Flounder. Stuffer Flounder was a joke, a small sliver of fish and 90% dry stuffing of basically bread crumbs. Steak tough and chewy.

Enough Said.

Customer Service ... yea, right!

We purchased approximately $250 worth of beef and chicken from this company. Upon purchase, we were told that if we were not satisfied with any of the meat purchased, we would be able to exchange it for another product of the same kind.

After numerous (6) phone calls to the representative that sold us the chicken and asking to exchange it (with promises that he would be by each evening), we have yet to see him follow through on the company promise of ""satisfaction"". Two calls have even been placed to the corporate office with no return phone call. Clearly customer satisfaction, or the hope of a return customer are not a priority for this company. Needless to say ... we will NEVER recommend them to anyone nor would we purchase any additional product from them.

Id stay clear of this company if you are looking for a quality product or customer satisfaction. There are far too many other meat companies willing to make good on their promises to bother with this one.
